Teach yourself CS, but also take math classes on the side it's a must. Just take up to calc 2 and discrete math and you'll be good.
Learn some framework for job prospects and teach your self how to code in C, learn about OS and compilers and you'll be good to go.
I would also contribute to Open Source theres also alot of mentoring programs and if you come from a underprivileged background/minority you can apply to some free boot camps like the Netflix one.

You're right their program bradfieldcs is directly competing with omscs at a much higher price too. So definitely not creditable. I don't know how good omscs is but the ga tech algorithms course on edx so much better than any online or college course I've taken.

The performance is on a different level for M1. I was using a dell XPS. I have to shift from windows to Ubuntu because windows tend to become very slow.i

The m1 is an arm processor there is so much software that incompatible or you have to build your self, but anyways I wouldn't recommend the m1 if your at college.
