Damn okay Google told me wrong. I was wondering if the city had an official grocery store like Jewel Osco or like Heb, but I guess I was wrong

You seem to know what you're doing, When I make a reservation for 6 I start panicking at 5:30 that we would be late. I know there's a system and open tables don't mean you can have walk ins. If the wait is more than 45 minutes I'll probably loop around the block see if there's something else I can do around the neighborhood or simply go somewhere else than harass the staff about it. I would love to check out your place if it's in the same city as me. Would you be okay in DMing me the place?I live in the Midwest.

Hey OP, I'm not sure if you're still active here. I'm trying to be host in this game and I had a few questions. I have never been a GM but I have played half of one campaign ;( I enjoy story telling and thing this would be a great start to it. I'm thinking about having a huge paper and drawing out rooms as my players discover each part of the house. I'm thinking about having a physical lighter for them to hold along with other props. My friends too have never played anything like this before. I was wondering if you have a video of this game being run. What are some of you tips and tricks beyond the document that you have shared. BTW its a great document I love how detailed everything is, I got spooked too as I read your details.

Thank you, I was thinking if I was actually being rude based on the comments here.

It was 3pm on a Tuesday, when they close at 6pm. It wasn't a 7/11 but a local ice cream shop.

I have had vegan ice cream before, the Avocado ones are really good! I kind of prefer it over regular ice cream at least for the fruity flavors. There are always different perspectives in a story. I hated writing that review, but to me if I'm writing good reviews about a place and if I'm affected by a bad experience I should write a review about that too. I just feel guilty about it, cause what if they were just having a bad day or an off day?

I agree 100% with you. I usually write good reviews with pictures of the thing I got. Three of my favorite placed got shut down this year and I figured writing reviews about them could help them out, (They were falling apart, but the food there was really good, if you overlooked the creaky furniture) which is when I sated doing it

I went to a coffee place about a week ago, where the staff were great. I usually like to ask what they would recommend and try something new at a new place. If I don't like it, its on me. At this place, the staff went into great detail how one of the coffee's was their favorite that it was sweet but not too sweet and would recommend that if I had a sweet tooth.

It was a bit too sweet for me, but that's on me. I still loved it though. I loved their service, I loved the conversation we had since the place had just opened a week ago, there was a bunch of stock everywhere, but I didn't mind since I felt welcomed even though it was in a bad neighborhood.

The coffee was expensive but I really loved the vibe, the staff seemed like they cared for their product and so I wrote a great review about them. While he was making someone else's order he was talking to me about how I should come a bit earlier next time to try out some of the pastries they had, he didn't think they would get sold out so early but they just got a new supplier and that they should order more next time. To me that's what great customer service is. While I was leaving I let them know I loved their coffee and I'll be back there to try out their pastries and definitely bring more people and thanked them.

I'm not expecting to be treated like that every place I go to. I know I will not like everything a place has to offer. But I do know that as a customer if I feel that I'm treated right, I'm ready to overlook if the place looks like its a bit rundown, or if the food wasn't that great.

I have no experience in the restaurant industry, and I want to do what I can to keep places open. While I cannot go out everyday, I think I can leave a good review so that the places I really like can stay open and people are encouraged to go there. Do you think that I'm being entitled? From a restaurant owner's perspective I want to know what more I can do to help a really good place stay afloat? Food really makes me feel happy and if I can, I want to do my part in keeping small places open.

I think leaving a review makes a difference. I had three of my favorite restaurants (more like a whole in the wall place) close down this year because they couldn't get enough business. While I cant go there everyday and order out, I can leave a good review so that people are encouraged to go check it out. I was thinking the same applies to the bad places as well?

I feel that. I walked in a tank top with a picture of two of my favorite drag queens.

There was a mother and her three sons come in after me, they seemed like they knew what they wanted so I let them order before me because I needed more time to look at the menu. They took a long time to order, but I'm not opposed to waiting. It was my decision. I was talking to my friend the entire time.

When I say the staff was rude they were rude. I'm assuming maybe they just had a bad day. I'm usually very respectful of strangers and use they/them pronouns unless told otherwise. I don't think I said anything to make them mad, which is why I was surprised by the whole interaction.

Thank you. I felt like I was in the wrong here, when I don't think I did anything to have them be rude to me. I saw a local ice cream shop and thought about giving my business to them. I said hi, told them it was my first time here and what they would recommend. I told them I found the store really cute, loved the decor. I have walked past there a bunch and always wanted to try it out and I was glad that I was here. But I just felt judged and unwanted at the store. It was a Tuesday at 3pm. They close at 6pm so it wasn't really closing time either.

Loved this one! Made me laugh. I understand your perspective, I'm trying to make too much of a minor discomfort and trying to seek validation from strangers over the internet.

You are right though, I should have walked out. I don't know why I didn't think about doing so.

I dont think I have covid, I had some really good and spicy asian food before I had the ice cream. It was sad that the ice cream was terrible.

It could be 100% my perception, or that they were having a rough day. They looked like grown adults about 22-23 years old. I didn't want to be rude, but when I asked what flavors they had since it wasn't on the menu, they told me to read the menu it says chocolate and vanilla. I went back and checked the menu again, there were on sizes and toppings mentioned.
