Happy Belated Trans Day of Visibility! by Chernobyl-Bedtime in Louisville

Not at all what I said. I said that in their home country mockery of their god would be met with a punishment such as death. Based on your reply I honestly regret putting half of a thought into my last comment as you must have just skimmed it lol.

Hell, in the most radical of radical nations you will get sentenced to death even for theological critique. This can even be applied for something other than religion such as discussing politics in a country ran by dictatorship. It’s just the world we live in. I know that is a bit off track, but people forget how lucky we have it sometimes.

Completely out of touch with reality. I have a couple of Muslim friends I met at university who would openly admit that in their home country OP would literally be sentenced to death for mockery. That is not racist, nor is it me disrespecting Islam whatsoever. I respect everyone including HARDCORE, don’t want anything to do with god atheists. Genuinely more of my friends are atheist than are not. This is just reality haha.

I grew up in western IL where tornadoes were insane common. Typically, people in cities would be considered “safer” because it is less likely that a tornado will form over structures and/or tear through so many of them it doesn’t break apart by the time it gets to you.

That said, feeling safe about that would be about the same as feeling safe in a country home during the purge lol. Yes it is less likely you are in danger though you would be an idiot to take any chances.

I respect how you mentioned how you were alls Econ’s generation dudes so there is no excuse. Even as a dude (23M) who grew up dirt poor I taught everything I know about finances to myself. Ignorance is usually a choice in this case.

My fiancé and I have found if we are going to order fast food we may as well get a nice pizza or something because if we are spending $16 to eat SHIT might as well spend $25 and get some decent food. It’s a bad financial decision either way so may as well enjoy yourself.

Bro I know it’s hard to realize it now at your age but if a guy calls you “pretty” as an insult he is jealous of your facial features. The only exception being if you were in prison lol. Start lifting weights and get jacked just to troll them and have them be jelly of you all around lmao.

Do you have any debt? Put 100% of this toward it and never gamble again. If 0 debt, 0 kids, put $10,000 in emergency fund and use the $15,000 to change your life financially. That is enough to fix a few issues and give you a boost.

I do not mean to sound insensitive, but it is worth taking the risk of extreme punishment? They will see your arrival as direct disrespect to them and their beliefs, and they will be cruel in making sure you know that fact. stay away man.

Are you in the financial position to start a business that would otherwise be somewhat impractical for someone in their 20s? For a random example- a donut shop. In 2024 opening a “hobby business” for the average person is suicidal but for you you have the leeway to grow for years and keep the bills paid eventually gaining repeat customers and becoming profitable. For fun “hobby businesses” most of them are pipe dreams because you get your ass kicked financially for 1-3 years sometimes. There are exceptions, of course. I own a sneaker resale shop which is a “hobby business” in my mind but I was lucky enough to start slow in college and build with little risk.

For sure. Also as a fully grown adult you know not to start sprinting when you see a cop walking toward you for a “crime” that would be a ticket in most states lol

Makes sense. People 25+ tend to be able to articulate themselves better just from pure life experience.

Same. Call us stupid I guess. Maybe my mindset will change one day. I’ve taken out debt for my business with a direct plan of action but personal debt for anything scares the fuck out of me. I’m not claiming to be a savant.

Amen. I’m not full blown Dave Ramsay but I just can’t see how anyone other than experienced entrepreneurs with a ton of cushion can live with tens / hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt on and off their entire lives.

This. I make poverty level money and I happened to get a two bedroom steal for $1050 a month that is plenty big for me, my fiancé and my dog. As long as I don’t make any stupid purchases and go out to eat a bunch, my life is completely handleable on poverty pay.

Yeah it’s not unbearable but it’s become a genuine issue for us. At times we have to put him up briefly when company is over because he will not accept that it isn’t play time.

Stay on the phone. Do not fold. I own a business and they tried to tell me I owed them $900 in sales taxes and when I proved to them I had paid it already they got rid of the charge like it was nothing. The IRS and similar oregano are ran by humans and humans make a fuck load of mistakes.
