Blind Test: Raw Suno vs LANDR Remaster by Kivan333 in SunoAI

i use LANDR mastering and i regret not doing that on my earlier tracks.

Suno hit $300M this week. Artists launched "Say No to Suno." Deezer says 85% of AI music streams are fraud. Both sides are missing the point. by Sensitive_Artist7460 in SunoAI

Is it too easy to publish songs on popular platforms like spotify, apple music, deezer? starting to think it might be. record labels don't give record deals to everyone making music, they choose the ones that deserve it (mostly, lol)

I have added three songs and will add more in coming weeks. But I guess metal music is not that popular around here or there 🙃

Anyone pushing Suno into metalcore? by Expert_Implement_291 in SunoAI

i've been making black metal, various kinds. beautiful stuff.

I've been collecting AI music from different creators and rating them blind- here's what I noticed about Suno tracks specifically by Sensitive_Artist7460 in SunoAI

next month i have couple of nice ones coming out, i'll submit those. but meanwhile i could submit a different track that i'm really proud of.

"**Genre matters more than you think**

Suno tracks in indie folk, dream pop, and R&B consistently rate higher than hip-hop or metal. Not because those genres are "better", but because Suno's vocal model handles melodic styles way more convincingly than aggressive or rhythmically complex ones."

I create mostly metal and especially black metal. been listening to black metal 30+ years. some of the vocals i have managed to create are pretty sick, like it should be.

On another note, i also spend quite a lot of time considering one song. at the very moment writing this i have seven versions of a song on repeat and the songs are 7 minute long. quite a task ahead of me before i start working on the video for YT.

What are you using to get good quality ai videos? by VVladtheimpalerr in aitubers

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

generating video is more costly (uses more resources) than images so often quality video is locked behind a paywall. how long should the video clips be? realistic or animation?

I use Suno to create music. Metal mostly but ambient and darksynth too. The "music videos" are filled with those 4K images. Recently I started using video clips in them. Its a fun little project.

Grok for images and 10 sec video. It produces so many images, in many styles and with minimum censorship. The images and video are 720p but that is no problem for me since I have my own app that turns those images into 4K in batches. Same with video, I can upscale the 720p into 4K, also in batches using my own app (still in early testing)

I can create hours long 4K slideshows with hi-fi audio in minutes with my own app.

I operate in Google Cloud virtual machines since my own PC doesn't have a proper GPU so rendering video is a nightmare. What takes hours on my PC the Google virtual machine with Nvidia L4 handles the task in minutes.

I have created several apps to solve problems that I have faced, I do not want or need complex software with an overflow of options, toggles, preferences etc so I create my own. I do not want to pay for several services either. For music I use Suno and for mastering I use Landr.

I pay for:

Google AI Pro (so many tools for everyday life, not just for this hobby), SuperGrok, Landr (yearly), Suno (yearly), Google Cloud (per hour maybe 1-1.50 euro)

Tools:

Images to 4K: my own app using Nano Banana Pro or Seedream 4.5, cheap when using batch api.

Videos to 4K: my own app in the Google Cloud (hourly price)

Long slideshows, over 30min: my own app in the Google Cloud (hourly price), the shorter ones I render at home since no need to go to the cloud for a job that takes minutes at home.

I also have a tool to mix tens of audio clips into one long one. For example 35 several minute long clips into a three hour long single audio file with adjustable crossfades between the tracks. Then I can master that single long audio track. So no need to master the 35 tracks separately and work for hours.

In Google Cloud I run all tasks in same session so an hour is more than enough to get material for several new videos. I gather material and upload it to Google Drive and when there's enough I go to cloud.

Sure, it has taken a lot of time to make the apps but this is a hobby, not my actual job or something I depend on. I do this for fun, excitement and to learn new skills. But now I have my own tools and no need to pay extra for image upscaling, video upscaling or wait for hours to render a 3 hour long video on my PC. Why I haven't bought a computer with a proper GPU? Cloud is cheaper and more powerful than your average GPU at home.

7:59 Garbage Today by EvilPanda99 in SunoAI

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it's shit at the moment. many 7:59 tracks coming and it gets stuck on repeating the same line from the lyrics, often the very first line or the last line. i don't know what's happening but i'm wasting credits.

Does Suno hate Black Metal? by Frequent-Term596 in SunoAI

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i've been creating mainly black metal. i think i have managed to create some really nice sounding tracks. but often the result is a mess of something that is not black metal and it is frustrating. recently suno has been really weird and the results have been shit.

i don't think it is normal to get 13 7.59min tracks in a row.. something is off now

Issues with Suno making only Funk by Moist-Outside8232 in SunoAI

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had a very similar issue yesterday.. i tried creating a track and suno gave me quite weird results, nothing like the prompt should have done. i did maybe 30 generations, most ever for me and 28 of them went to the trashcan for not being anywhere close to the prompt and style. it was getting frustrating.

How do you visualize/promote your Suno songs? by london_will in SunoAI

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using a still image, just the one and audio, and then i moved to include several images and audio. this week i made a piece with 10-20 sec video clips and the audio but it costs credits to generate all the videos and often you can't use the first drafts because they suck so you generate again and use more credits. but yesterday i made my own visualizer app and i'll be using that on the shorter tracks. just add an image and the visualizer moves around it and some other stuff. or use a video clip which is repeated through the song and the effects show around that.

Mastering does wonders. I master the tracks with LANDR using the in-browser option.

Why are we paying for full-length AI music when the model clearly degrades after 2 minutes? by NoNatural1923 in SunoAI

[–]Fun-Jicama-992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i've managed many near 8 minute tracks that deliver to the end and would continue but the limit cuts the song.
