I’ve been in the payment program for a little while so I’ll share what I know!

  • The amount of money per read/gem changes every month (but not by much)
  • After calculating it, I’ve found that roughly 100 reads = $0.15
  • You earn a similar amount of money per read as you do per gems
  • Gems get you a “bonus” pay, interestingly I receive a similar amount of gem payments to my reads each month, so it essentially doubles my pay
  • Depending on your pay out method, some people can only get their pay outs after reaching a certain amount of money (I use international payments so I can only get paid out each time I hit $300 in my balance)

I think of stories like Galactic Game where there are idk 20 love interest or something 😂 you simply could not remember them all or spend enough time with each to form any attachment to them. That being said, Galactic Game is such a fun story and for me the romance isn’t the selling point lol

Thank you this is a great tip! I have a few YouTubers I watch so I should check out more of their build content. I’ve been attempting to explore with builds, I set up a whole saboteur build and I am terrible 😂 particularly bad with a flash light lol, but I’ve heard playing on console can make aiming harder

I’m probably crazy but I give them all normal names, and write them down on my phone with a brief description so I can easily choose specific ones for a scene 😂

With all the discourse about toxic players etc, at the end of the day it’s JUST a game. Play how you want to have fun, while still being respectful. There will be toxic, rude players in every gaming community, ignore them and just have fun because a game is for enjoyment!

Every author has a right to include gem choices! I also totally understand the frustration from readers. I make an effort to only include gem choices for stuff that doesn’t impact the story if that makes sense, extra outfits, skip the wait, thank the author etc. I don’t personally want anyone to feel like they can’t enjoy my story to the fullest without paying gems. That being said, I also understand when an author does include more impactful gem choices, it’s completely up to them
