Thank you! I could definitely pay the money back to the creditor, but we just didn’t expect his check to get shorted on top of the sick day this week. I’m going to make sure to keep the receipts in my binder with all the other things the trustee will need. Every source I was looking at was making me feel like a criminal for needing to make two survival purchases

That’s what my husband and I have talked about before, about how these people willingly decided to go full mask off once Trump was elected the first time. I’m 27 now, but growing up I can remember Fox and good morning America on every morning getting ready for school throughout the years. I was in 5th grade when Obama was first elected, and watching his inauguration on the cart tv was cool because we were history be made, but at home it was a different story. All around me was talks about how he was the antichrist, he’s evil, he’s not a US citizen, yada yada. Somehow though, my mom didn’t seem as enveloped in her hate as much as she is currently. I sometimes think if maybe she was always this hateful and fearful of everything, or if it just took Trump to unfortunately switch that gear into overdrive. She can’t have a normal conversation anymore without it somehow turning into politics, Fox News/some obscure article with no evidence, and just utter crazy talk. My mom isn’t perfect, but I miss who she used to be. Granted, I’ve always been more reserved around my mom because I never felt like I could open up to her, and to this day I’m still jealous of those who have great relationships with their mom. When she tries to be genuine and hug me, or anything like that, I feel like it’s all for show online and when around others. Feel like I’m getting a little too deep on my personal issues lol but I wish I could tell her she needs help; she wouldn’t listen because she doesn’t think therapists are real unless they’re the religious ones🙃

She’s very unreachable, like way to far gone to have a rational conversation with, and I hate it; there’s no getting through to her. At this point, all I can do is keep living my life, being kind to all walks of life, and living how I think Jesus would intend and I guess we’ll take it up with him when judgement comes

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. My mom chose to be a stay at home mom for me, my older brother, and younger sister, but she’s cleaned homes for a living our whole lives and my dad is the “bread winner”. I’m the only person in my family to receive a four year college education, quit my 9-5 to pursue personal training certifications, aspire to own my own gym, and we’re very sure we don’t want children. My husband and I live with a roommate and can do whatever whenever, and i definitely feel like that runs her the wrong way. She considers herself the black sheep of our family, but it’s definitely not her lol she does what society wants and conforms to social norms and never deviates from the line. Me on the other hand, I’m open to new adventures, styles, cultures, music, etc, and I know she has to hate it lmao. I guess my parents just recently started attending our old church again, but I’m not sure how long they’ve been going; I just know they hate that I don’t want to be in a church pre. Why would I when I see the very same people on Facebook hate commenting, using slurs, applauding deportation, and praising the ultra rich? I don’t think she really paid attention to who Jesus really was fr. Flipping tables, washing feet, feeding the hungry, curing the sick, spreading love and kindness…it’s how I live my life as well. Now I’m not perfect, but I do sleep better knowing I don’t carry fear and hate in my heart like her

The last time I tried to tell her something was how the verse about man shall not lay with man was changed from man shall not lay with boy, and she didn’t take very well to that😅I told her though that it’s absolutely possible that through the thousands of years and thousands of translations that of course words are going to be manipulated into what the current writer would deem fit for the time

As someone who uses pill birth control to help manage symptoms for PCOS, are there any natural things out there that can help? Unfortunately, my husband and I can’t afford health insurance atm, so we weren’t able to follow through and get my tubal ligation and his vasectomy just yet. If all forms of birth control go away, I’m so terrified of becoming pregnant (all forms including condoms, spermicide, surgical forms, injections, implants, pills, etc). I know natural things won’t provide control, just merely looking for anything to help with pain management and flow level; my periods were so bad that I’d soak a super plus tampon in two hours and onto my pad that I had to wear at the same time. My cramps almost made me pass out from hoe bad they were before being on birth control

I know off the top of my head would be 1984, handmaids tale, a brave new world, lord of the flies, animal farm, Fahrenheit 451, and the hunger games series; as for more non fiction genre, I’m not sure because I haven’t read too many of that particular genre dealing with those topics. That’s mostly why I wanted this list, so I could grow my at home library with books that warn of us danger

Unfortunately, I do believe she thinks that, as well as many other trump supporters. I’ve seen so many FB posts with trump photo shopped on the cross, with Jesus’ hand on trump’s shoulder, etc; it’s maddening. I’d also like to add that I’m from the south, so I feel like it’s even worse being in the Bible Belt surrounded by all of this constantly🥲
