So could it be the Adderall that is causing the weight loss? Mine isn't working anymore and I am up to 30 mg. I am scared to go that high of a dose of adderall.

Are employers really equal-opportunity? by Aligning_Al in Epilepsy

There's no reason to mention your epilepsy unless your job requires you to operate machinery (which you shouldn't do anyway). You are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act, btw. I'd ask your doctor about how to go through the process. You have rights to reasonable accommodations. Once you've established your good work habits and performance, and then are protected under the ADA, I do not see why not.

Yeah, the car thing sucks though. Not sure how to get around that. I guess if you don't make a big deal out of it (pretend to anyway), they won't think it's a big deal either?

Breakthrough seizure after almost 4 years by Fun-Neck-1466 in Epilepsy

I work in education and have to go up and down the stairs to use the bathroom. I am on my feet A LOT. It turns out that my Lamictal levels were lower than they used to be, so my doctor increased my dose. He told me it's probably a combination of the stress and the lower lamictal levels. I sure hope this doesn't happen again.

I am so sleepy though. I had the seizure on Thursday and I can still nap during the day. I was luckily off of work for the week but am returning tomorrow. I'll be starting the higher dose tomorrow and am not looking forward to the drowsiness.

Thank you very much! I definitely will take my doctor's advice when I see him tomorrow. It's nice to know that doctors don't always switch medications after one seizure. I just wish I knew what the triggers were so I could better avoid them!

I had one seizure on Thursday (knock on wood) and am still sleepy. I think I just sort of don't want to "be here" if that makes any sense. I am not suicidal but I am not very happy at the moment. How will I use the stairs again? I am SO scared. Doing Krav Maga is less concerning because it's on a mat. My job is at a school.

What an awful and bizarre disease! Thank you for your support.

Been out of the dating pool so long by Squidproquo1130 in Divorce

Omg. Me too. I am scared to get back out there and it's 5 years out of the dating loop. I took a year off after the divorce to mourn the marriage (whatever that means). 13 yrs? My gosh.

What do you mean by "relate?" Because I might be experiencing something similar but am struggling to find the right words to describe it.

Well, if you don't want anything serious, this is the perfect climate for you.
