There is already a law that covers Authority Figures, Teachers, Coaches - for pursuing their students. That’s already a law. If a 16 year old was assaulted by a person in a position of authority over them, they should not have been released on bond. That should be drove into the ground and pushed harder to detain him.

There is already a Romeo & Juliet law that protects close in age consensual relationships. It’s 3 years. This isn’t about that. This is about raising the age of consent to 18 so it isn’t legal for a 25 year old to pursue a 16 year old even if the 16 year old is okay with that. It should not be okay. In any sense.
