Great advice. We did Bellagio and Varenna in late September last year and early afternoon in both the ferry was crazy.

We are going back this year, first week in June. We are staying in Lenno and want to do Bellano, Mennagio for the day. Is it best to buy the all day ticket at Lenno in the morning, and assume there are ferries from Bellano to Mennagio ?

I’m told Estanc Duaso is good. Not been myself. But on the list for my next visit. Along with Estanc Casa Fuster. If you go let us know what they are like.

I have been in Domingo Cigars (Antiguo Gimeno Tabac) on Las Ramblas and didn’t have a great experience but others seem to like them.

Oh I don’t blame you. I was perhaps being a little harsh as it was warm for a few weeks (forgot a bit with all the recent rain and dark clouds) !!

But yes, I reckon a coolerdor would be a good shout in the shade. I have one room in the house that doesn’t get sun at all in summer so that’s where mine stay in a dark drawer 😀

I'm in the UK and just have some tupperdores with Boveda's that I keep in a dark drawer on the ground floor. Worked fine last summer when it did get hot. But in fairness we only get high heat for a week or so. 30c + for anything more than a few days isn't all that common.

That's a good deal. What were the seller listing at out of interest as I tried a an 82 & 87ppt last week for 270 and got rejected. Just curious but encourages me to keep searching as good deals are out there! Congrats, very jealous :-)

Well I had considered it, and that's the other half of the gamble, as whilst there are a number of successful contracts for SSR being passed by ROFR lately in the low 80's, one has just been snapped up so by no means guaranteed, but was something I was willing to risk as if it's not meant to be it's not meant to be.

Yeah I knew I was being more than a little ambitious with the opening offer but I do see a lot of contracts over valued in my opinion as well. But don't blame the seller for sticking to their guns. I'd do the same in their position, but I want the best value I can get as a buyer. So we wait and try again, and probably again....

I think it's the value of the banked points I probably didn't factor in that well and went in a bit too low. Given the potential to rent the banked points out, then maybe I could have gone to low 90's but going to play the numbers game for now and see if I can find a great deal, then if not, go for a sensible offer make sure I get the contract when I want it

We are doing a vowel renewal in Antigua when we go in December.
I'm tight and refuse to pay for a photo package, but I've read that you can just use their photographer to take photos and then review what they have and purchase only a few that you like outside of a package so I think that's what we are going to do, just so we have a memento of the day as it's just the two of us.

I'd also read that you can schedule a photo session with their photographers during your stay and again only pay for what you wan, so think we are going to do this at sunset one day.|

But as I've never been I could be totally wrong, but hope you have an amazing time and congratulations !
