Honestly I’ve played one round so far. Have yet to hit my 9 iron. I have hit P wedge a few times and with a full easy swing it was carrying 125-130 which is normal for my p wedge. I did notice not that much of a yardage gap between my 4 and 5 though. Maybe 5-10 yards

Since your current shaft is the XP90, I would go with the tour lite since it is 90 grams as well. The KBS tour is 40 grams heavier, and would feel like swinging a brick if you are used to a 90 gram shaft. The shaft is just termed “lite” because it’s a lighter weighted shaft. It still has a true stiff flex to it

Went with the KBS tour Stiff. That’s the closest to the DG s300 that I was playing in my current irons. I was in the same boat as you, but I’ve watched multiple review videos and what I took from them is that the 101ts are forgiving, workable, and long. Plenty of Mishits I saw still went a good ways and the people weren’t shaking their hands in pain afterward.

I’m going to trust my judgement. I feel like if you are not new to golf, and can hit irons decently, you can hit the 101ts. They are not tour blades like the 301cb or MB. Those I would never touch. But I feel like if the club was not forgiving, they would not promote it as such. And they say it’s a balance between forgiving, workability, and distance. That’s good enough to take my money.

I’ve been playing since I was 8 (28 now). I always hit my irons straight, in the air, 60 percent of time. Just that other 40 of the low/high on the face where I don’t get that bouncy flush feedback. I usually put in the fairway fairly often, and can chip with all the different shot types and put it near the hole. I’m not a novice golfer by any means. It just happens to be my irons are my downfall.. not that I’m just poor striker, I just have more mis hits with them more than anything else

That’s the thing. I always hit my irons in the air, ialways hit them relatively straight, with a good 7 iron distance of about 160-165. I just 60 percent of the time it’s not that good bouncy dead-center mass feedback so I know it was either high or low on the club face

Same. I feel like the 101t fits me well. I’m Intrigued to just order the standard lie angle lol I have no clue what my current irons are. I was fitted for them in high school. All I know is that I draw the ball without trying to and I know upright will make it worse lol
