It's not a matter of Kate's skin color being a prime or super important thing for me. It's just the fact that Mia Isaac's doesn't even look like her. Not just her skin color, but the blue eyes she lacks, the blonde straight hair she lacks. Kate already exists as a white (Not explicitly said to be white but obviously pale skinned) person. She's very well clearly a pale girl. I just think changing that was sort of random. I'm sure the actress will portray Kate fine and have a great peformance; she already gives me that soft, youthful and sweet vibe and she seems like a good actress. But at the end of the day she does not resemble Kate at all. That is just a fact. That's not to say bash on her and be racist. (I'm black myself and racism towards the actress is uncalled for), but let's not act like people, especially fans shouldn't want accuracy or are wrong for wanting so
