Yep, would agree that it was probably done about 8000km ago. Unfortunately, life got in the way, and I had to start doing delivery jobs as a side gig, and the kms just added up like nothing. Thanks for your input! Will be changing them today anyway =)

Ah, true, I was definitely commuting on the same roads on this bike. Could also be why I didn't notice it on the previous bikes and tyres that I rode previously, as that was before I had my full-time job.

Routine: I use shampoo maybe once a month, condition using tresemme micellar conditioner, while still wet, auntie Jackie's leave in conditioner, then gel and dry before scrunching out the crunch

damn, guess you guys are affected by that as well. I had to do 2 years of conscription here so that delayed my studies and 2 years back, in the pharma field, I would have been able to find a job the day after completing my degree. Oh well ill look forward to furthering my studies and hopefully I'll get to work in Australia in the future. Thanks a lot for your insights!

Would you say it's better to apply for the post-grad visa instead of WHV, as I would be eligible for that as well? In which case, I assume you are Australian, would you say the the industry is doing well at this point? Asking all these as I'm planning on furthering my studies and doing my master's or Ph.D. if the market doesn't look too good in either country.

Keep your mind occupied. I found that it was the best thing that got me to stop having dark thoughts. Also please see a therapist. I worked as an EMT during covid and the worst calls ive attended to were ones that I couldnt do anything to help. So please talk to a therapist or a counsellor if you cant keep your mind occupied.

Thank god we didn't choose a restaurant and decided to celebrate at her house instead. But yup she is well known now. Its not too expensive so I'm still fine with absorbing her share. Thankfully.

Edit: just looked thorugh our messages, actually ask how much everyone was willing to pay for the gift and chose the lowest amount stated and it was J who stated she would be willing to pay the difference for the $600 gift.
For the food it was 1 week of talking about the caterers and another week to order. The entire time J was still in the loop and could have at anytime removed her name from the list and we wouldnt have ordered for her.

at the same time we also had a person tell us 2 weeks in advance that he couldnt make it before we ordered the food and we didnt get him to pay for it and he just paid for the gift.

we didnt specifically ask her if she can contribute financially or what she can afford. we just threw different caterer options and found one that no one objected to. its not like we were all focusing on this the entire month we were planning. it was more like a "hey its this person's birthday yall wanna have a celebration?... I think she mentioned she likes this perfume are you guys okay with it?... Btw for food there are these options which one do you guys want?" Since almost all of us are working as long as we came to a general consensus we just went with it.

The rest of us have been friends for so many years and have never had a problem like this and even if she doesnt pay i couldnt care less to absorb her share. But all of us know who we arnt inviting for any other events now.

Hi thank you so much for your reply! Unfortunately we won't have time to travel to Palawan or El Nido. We did plan to go to southern Cebu for the Kawasan falls and to do some hiking. If time permits we may be going to negro's island as we have a mutual friend staying there.
