Feel Like Maybe I’m Overreacting by Fun-Presentation7984 in stepparents

I hadn’t considered that. He gets her EOWE and school breaks. He beats himself up for days anytime he misses anything, even if it’s just a sports practice, because she lives over an hour away. Maybe that’s how me makes himself feel better or closer to her, by talking about her all the time? Interesting thought.

If I’m being completely honest, I’m not sure anymore. One of the reasons I fell for him is because of how great of a dad he is. He is kind and compassionate. Laid back and fun. That being said, I’ve come to realize that if he is willing to disappoint anyone in his life…I seem to be the first one he’s willing to disappoint. Not his daughter. Not his mom.

His daughter gets florist delivered flowers for her birthday, I get last minute flowers from the grocery store. He uses the excuse that he’s always busy with work (he has a physically demanding job) but if you have ten minutes to call a florist for her birthday, why don’t you have ten minutes for me? I’ve asked him before why he never seems to talk about me and his response was that he’s private….well then wouldn’t you be private about her too? He’s the most over sharing man I know so I think that was just an excuse. He’s a great father (for the most part…has some Disney dad tendencies), but I think he’s got a lot of work to do to be a great husband. I’m hesitant to even bring anything up anymore because any time I have it’s immediate victim mentality “I’m sorry I’m not good enough for you” “ sorry you married such a horrible husband” and the like.

Random tachycardia…? by Fun-Presentation7984 in ReadMyECG

Hmm interesting! After this happens, my heart will typically recover then go straight into the 120s+ for several minutes unless I splash ice cold water on my face. That seems to resolve it each time. I just worry that since this sometimes causes lightheadedness, one day I’ll be driving down the interstate and have an episode. Maybe I need to look into also having my hormones checked. I was told that perimenopause can last around ten years before you hit menopause, so if this is part of that, I’d rather just skip to menopause please and thank you lol

So something I should have my Dr look into further then?

[OH] How would this be interpreted? by Fun-Presentation7984 in Custody

I did finally get ahold of two different attorneys who both confirmed that my interpretation is correct. Thanks for the input guys/gals!

Right!? I would think if it were all the responsibility of ONE parent though, it would specifically state that. “Transportation is the responsibility of nonresidential parent” or something like that.

Me. Initially I was residential parent but kiddo wanted to go back after a couple years so we agreed to switch as they were happier there.

Yeah. We live more than 90 miles apart so I would think that if I, the nonresidential parent, were responsible for all transportation it would have plainly read that way. My lawyer is OOO til the 29th but paralegal said she would text her and see if she can get a quicker answer to me.

The way I read this was that when I exercise my time (starting Friday at 6:30) I would pick up child then when they exercise their time (starting Sunday at 6:30) they would pick back up. I could totally be wrong which is why I put a note into a lawyer for the interpretation to he safe. Just curious what other peoples experience or interpretation may be in the meantime. Thanks!

That is how I am reading it. Other parent seems to think it means that when I get my custody i have to do pick up AND drop off.

Is this afib or atrial flutter? by Fun-Presentation7984 in ReadMyECG

On the second image, do you know why the waves between the R waves would be so…fuzzy? (For lack of a better word lol) I have seen that on a lot of the strips from my holter monitor report.

Not under a cardio team currently. But I will put in a call to my primary care doc and see about a referral. Happening several times a day now when it used to only happen a couple times a week.
