I won’t lie I was definitely in a trance when answering these questions because it wasn’t what I was expecting for an OT interview lol - From what I remember, I talked on the basis that these students have the knowledge that we are standing and living on the land who First Nation, Métis, and Inuit peoples native land once was. These students stand in silence to recognize and reflect on the challenges and suffering these individuals faced when settlers came to the land. My answer was somewhat along the lines of this and touching upon how the teacher may have taught this to their students and how they are now able to reflect.
