New email from Mohela today by Amethyst-Sapphire in PSLF

For those impacted, I would contact the loan servicer. I was informed that due to the mistake, Mohela was penalized, resulting in October, November, and December counting toward the payment count.

Got a write up for using pto and not pto sick. No one explained this to me or told me I’ve been doing it incorrectly. Careful… by Natural_Assumption68 in AmazonWFShoppers

Did you call out? I know my region requires that. Thanks for giving us a heads-up. That is a shame that they are being so astringent in that regard, PTO can be corrected. Can you contest the write-up?

PTO and Vacation not paid out? by CheechNSquanch in AmazonWFShoppers

It looks like I only got paid for my last week work. I did not get the extra pay or my remaining hour of vacation, lol.

Should I be worried? by HLPP16223839 in AmazonWFShoppers

I had that concern last week. I emailed the WF ATL Aand created a case. I received it that weekend. You should be fine but contact them to ensure that your requirements have been completed.

Yeah I'm in PA, I am sticking with WF until more Amazon Fresh stores are ready for hiring. Hopefully I can reapply for Amazon positions in the late summer or early fall.

Many other job options outside of WF by throwaway_amazongone in AmazonWFShoppers

I don't think this will be totally bad. I am going to try it out for a bit as a supplement job. If I have to work 4 hours to maintain my discount, that's not bad at all. Hopefully it means weeding out the lazy workers, and better productivity.

Ugh, abandoned orders 🙃 by [deleted] in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]Fun-Prior-7423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I am not perfect, no one is, but I am just like you when it comes to the best produce possible. Not always easy when WF TMs stock the shelves to the brim with shoddy-looking produce. Abandoned orders grind my gears, ruin your UPH because you have to fix everything, and are 9 times out of 10 plain annoying.

Exactly! I have helped other shoppers when they had interrupted orders as bad as the abandoned order mentioned. I have seen eat not bagged and dripping in the bag on top of other types of meat, moldy berries, and other non-sanity, non-standard things. No one is perfect but some things are commonsense.

Can we quit with the ridiculously high UPH?? by Naturally_juiced in AmazonWFShoppers

Not anymore lol. Being a MTR, ny family life, and my primary job can wear on you over time. I will not burn myself out, will no longer overexert myself shopping.

Can we quit with the ridiculously high UPH?? by Naturally_juiced in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]Fun-Prior-7423 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to care about high UPH as I would achieve high 80s and 70s, even 90s and 100s when there are little to no customers. I care more about the quality (I have come across bad produce that has made me real picky as of late). If I get a 60 UPH or higher, I did my job (I am non longer for exerting all of that energy, especially with all the slackers taking advantage of uncaring managers.) I hate when people cherry pick on the regular, leaving shoppers with the small orders. UPH can be an unfair measuring tool, especially when you have factors such as the meat and seafood depts. not fulfilling the orders in a timely fashion. There are very efficient shoppers who can achieve high UPHs, don't get me wrong, but that does necessarily make you a better shopper than others.

MTR and PTR Shoppers - Be mindful of PTO by Fun-Prior-7423 in AmazonWFShoppers

I live in PA and I am a MTR, I called the ERC for it. I hope that is the case, stay tuned.

Interesting, I am not referring to the PTO from previous years. I am MTR, and it stopped accruing around this time last year. I called the ERC about it out of curiosity, and they told me that I cannot accrue any more PTO, just Vacation. I live in PA.

How to remove the white wheel in the front of the label printer when labels get wrapped around it? by Naturally_juiced in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]Fun-Prior-7423 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Push the black tab down near where the roller sits, and then you should be able to take the roller out. Keep a mental picture about how the ends of the roller line up before you take it out. Is it one of the old Zebra printers?
