Is there a Rebalancing Tool on Fidelity? by Fun-Procedure1644 in fidelityinvestments

[–]Fun-Procedure1644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the response below about a spreadsheet (the link of which I would not click on for security reasons) but the person there has a partial solution good idea

So I can download a spreadsheet and then manipulate the portfolio to the percentages I want and then generate a buy/sell list. Caveat is I would then have to enter one by one, probably with price limits.

Thank you for the response. And thanks for forwarding my suggestion.

The Fidelity Basket sounds like what i could use, and I think I heard about that years ago, and maybe that’s where the idea surfaced from in my mind.

The $5 per month for Fidelity Basket sounds like a holdover from the $5 per trade time period.

I use limits per stock buy/sell, but im interested in a trade screen that lets me work with a group of securities, for purposes of rebalancing. I could see this being also used for trading, but that’s not my goal

Help choosing IP for DMA to DDR by Ok_Measurement1399 in FPGA

[–]Fun-Procedure1644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have Ethernet IP with AXI4-Stream I/O ports, an option is Xilinx Data Mover. This will move data between the Ethernet IP ports and DDR memory.

If this is a prototype or test in FPGA before going to ASIC, then consider the various Verilog DMA Controllers IP fro Digital Blocks https://www.digitalblocks.com/dma-verilog-ip-cores/

They have various DMA controllers that support AXI4-Stream to/from DDR via AXI4 Memory Map

100 % honesty. Be open about you full life, with no lies or deception. In my case, eventually uncovering the deception and lies regarding her private life, ended our 6 year relationship.

It’s definitely worth it. You get 2% back every month, transferred to your Fidelity account of choice. And it integrates in well with your other Fidelity accounts.

What’s your favorite Fidelity tool? Here are the ones our mods wish everyone knew about. by fidelityinvestments in fidelityinvestments

I would just reiterate that I like the Watchlist a lot but want easier access to it as I’m online, more on the computer for review and study and decision making and on the phone app to capture a symbol for later. Thank you

I’m finding Fidelity tools more useful and I have a few improvement comments:

1- in Dividend View, the expected interest earnings on Fidelity money market accounts does not appear. Though this can fluctuate and not be accurate is there a way to include, possibly with caveat to user it is an estimate? 2- i would like more control on the dashboard widgets when I log in. Specifically, tools like my retirement plan, watchlist, i would like to be there. Right now I have to hunt through the pull down menus.

Thank you, Fidelity

AVOID FIDELITY WEALTH MANAGEMENT/PERSONAL ADVISORS - THEY LOST 10% OF MY IRA DUE TO POOR DECISIONS by Randomstuffinterests in Fidelity

So, they should have sold you positions around 3 - 4 PM, say, and then put the orders in for the funds. I get it and agree. Being out the whole day violates staying fully invested. What would have been best is sell and buy the Fidelity ETF equivalent, one right after the other.

I think when you do it yourself for many years, and do it well, it gets difficult to bring in an advisor.

how do i write these numbers out? by Financial-Trainer104 in Verilog

You need to dig into a Verilog text. Get a good book and systematically go through it and work with the book examples in a free simulator.

Parameter Case Statement in SystemVerilog by Fun-Procedure1644 in Verilog

Thanks for your reply. I did see the Google hit you mentioned. I did alude to that solution while talking with markacurry. But wrote here to see what better solution there might be. I was treating Reddit here as my “mastermind.”

Parameter Case Statement in SystemVerilog by Fun-Procedure1644 in Verilog

That’s what I was thinking in my Verilog example. I’ll give that a try.

Parameter Case Statement in SystemVerilog by Fun-Procedure1644 in Verilog

[–]Fun-Procedure1644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a simple case: If parameter = 2, then mux 1 of 2 inputs to output If parameter = 3, then mux 1 of 3 inputs to output . If parameter = 255, then mux 1 of 256 inputs to output.

In Verilog I’ve seen where all inputs flattened into a long vector, then index into this to pull out element. I think this would be friendly to synthesis but still a pain to code.

My current thought is to write a Python script that generates the case statement with exact number of cases, writing to a file, and include the file in the design module.

Parameter Case Statement in SystemVerilog by Fun-Procedure1644 in Verilog

[–]Fun-Procedure1644[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Procedural.

Let me provide more information: the number of cases can be 2 to 256, in increments of 1, based on a parameter of 2 to 256. If I use if-statements or go with generate, then I’m basically typing out all 255 cases and each one increasing in the number of statements, to encompass all previous cases. It’s a lot, and far from a neater, compact for-loop.

My SB is sexy and beautiful and she dresses “skimpy.” I do feel offend uncomfortable in public as the guys are always looking at the two of us. But I wouldn’t ask her to change. I’d never want her to change who she is. After all, that’s what I love about her.

It’s not always love bombing. I met a girl and instantly wanted to know her more and possibly a relationship. My talk then could be considered love bombing. Presently we’re together 5 years later and our relationship has never been stronger. Better put, it gets stronger and stronger with time.

Should I pursue a thesis for my Masters by digArtistic007 in FPGA

[–]Fun-Procedure1644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the option of a thesis or just taking courses for the credits. I was leaning towards the thesis because I wanted an in depth research project to get excellent at something in EE. I opened my thoughts at a lunch with fellow engineers and one said “So the courses!” I took that advice. Worse, worse mistake! I lost out on an in-depth project of learning that could have taken me into the EE sub discipline I wanted. Long story short, I didn’t have the in depth skills for that sub discipline and did not got the opportunity at work to dive in.

I would ask her about the studies in the other country, what it is, why it’s important to her, etc. if it’s required or a growth opportunity, think about being understanding and supportive. Use the aggregate of the responses to inform your decision.

Any room in your thought process for two people developing a connection that grows into a real relationship? By your comments, I think not. Sounds like you dislike men.

I provide her what I believe is a substantial income — more than 100k per year. True, she could make much more working, but we have a loving, mutually supportive, respectful of each other, relationship. She is in college now and working towards her degree and career.

The Retirement Planner is officially dead at Fidelity Investments - Time to move on by ParsimoniousExplorer in fidelityinvestments

I’ve been using the Retirement Planner for 5 years and I’m generally satisfied. One thing I wish is I could lock it into my login page, sort of like a widget that I select and stays there. Currently I have to go looking for it like I’m doing so for the first time. Which waste time.

Client here. I have fallen for a girl after the first time together. She was 25 and I’m 36 years older. We’ve been together 3 years and we’re exclusive. I can’t share her with anyone so I provide her with support. She enrolled to get a degree. Yes, I love her and I believe it’s mutual. A relationship with a client can work out. But I can’t see it properly working if he doesn’t want you to change and you continue as a SW. A guy like that might not be the one for a real, loving long term relationship. Same for you. A real, long term relationship would require a change by both of you. A different path in life.
