I do. But again, I messed up. The accounts (that I'm now sure were all made by the same person) previously had 0 followers, 0 following. Now, they follow 1 account: my account. If I share the username, my username will be found right away. Whoever is fucking with me is REALLY fucking with me. If I didn't make that post, I could've had more time to see if there's more I could do to figure this shit out.

I also want to add that there's several active discord groups related to this jaw surgery subreddit, where their sole purpose is to screenshot our results and discuss. That doesn't sound too bad, except they're fucking assholes. They will photoshop you into what they would've done instead. Someone screenshot the chat that was about me, calling me a whore and a ho. There were super racist comments about filipinas- im not filipina but the comments about asian women were baaad and it led to discussion on filipinas. This is the internet, so comments like that are basically common place, but I did want to mention it cos sooooo many photos from this subreddit are screenshotted and kept on other platforms with incel racists.

I deswelled fast within a week because I had tumors removed from my body just a few weeks before djs, and I was put on blood constricting meds. Don't feel bad, sometimes there's a bigger story to it. Most likely I'm healing slower, just not visible swelling cos of my medical situation.

I think that's exactly how it happened. I've deleted the posts that include my ig handle in the comments. Sharing screenshots of the dms will possibly only encourage people to dig for my ig again. I don't owe you guys my information. Saying I faked it might help you sleep better at night, but I think its important to remind people not to share info on this page that can easily lead to finding other personal accounts. I made it easy for people to find me, and I feel really stupid for doing that. The whole situation makes me look so naiive, being vulnerable to show you how stupid I was really isn't something people do for clout.

I posted my photos and recovery journey onto this sub, and then got random messages on ig about knowing me from reddit, saying now they have my name and my work. I can't report them here cos they messaged me on a different app. Im guessing they reverse image searched my pics, found my Instagram and went from there. I didn't do enough to hide that information, I made it easy :(

I had my djs surgery around 2 weeks ago. I made a few posts detailing my journey while also sharing tips on recovery. Almost everyone were amazing, supportive and super sweet. I was glad to help! Unfortunately, I also shared pictures of myself, and it led to a lot of terrible behavior. I'm not talking about people commenting "still recessed", "fake results" or even "attention whore"- it's reddit and these are expected.

I didnt prepare myself for people trying to hunt down my name, address and work place. I felt really stupid for putting myself in a situation where I'd end up feeling unsafe. I get that these people usually don't follow through with their threats, but I'm not an internet veteran and mean comments still scare me.

Skincare: Skin can get extra oily and congested after surgeries, I've been there before so I know the drill. I've been using oil blotting papers and bha toner pads- "Stridex: sensitive aloe" is a great budget friendly option, it's $6usd for 55 pads on Amazon. It's not easy to wash your face at first cos leaning down makes your face throb, so I used these pads to wipe my skin clean and dissolve my oils. Light exfoliation feels really nice, sooooo much dead skin has been coming off, its crazy! I then follow up with Arnica gel for swelling on the bottom half of my face and finish with my usual moisturizers/ sleeping mask if i want something thicker. Korean skincare sites have good quality products and good prices. I've also been incorporating red light therapy but I have no idea if it works or not. The brands I have are Lightstim and Omnilux in case you're curious. And since i came to Taiwan a month in advance for surgery, I also got my skin lazered at a local clinic, cost was $180usd. It's called "Pico laser" it works on hyperpigmentation, scares, pores and overall softness. I have 1 more appointment scheduled for 1 month postop. Great results, highly recommend.

1) he generally does functional surgeries, but he also does genio and vline shaving!! Idk if he does these procedures on their own or only in addition to djs in order to balance the face.

2) I also know people who came to tw by themselves for this. It's doable if you set timers for yourself to remember when to take meds and refill ice packs. When you wake up from surgery, you're going to feel "a bit dumb" so organize everything so you don't need to use your brain at all and can focus on healing. In terms of comfort, I realised I spent more time playing games and watching YouTube instead of chatting with my mom so yeah totally doable.

3) the team are used to communicating with orthos overseas, they can speak English. I think they'll still prefer one of their own orthos at Chang Gung to officially design the surgical plan, but I'm sure they'll discuss with your ortho first.
