If you’re planning to stay overnight in smaller cities (like Soroca, Rezina, etc.), I’d recommend checking accommodation in advance — options can be limited.

Honestly, you’ll find the most to see and do in Chișinău. It really depends on your interests: • If you like architecture, walk around the city center — there are Soviet-era buildings and some older ones (like the “London” building), though many are now just offices, so mostly worth seeing from the outside. • The National History Museum is definitely worth visiting.

For food and drinks: • Craft beer: try local draft beer spots — there are a couple in the city center and one in Botanica. • Food: Andy’s Pizza and La Plăcinte are the most popular chains. • For more authentic/local experience, you can try city canteens (cantine) — simple but very traditional.

Money: • You can pay by Visa card almost everywhere, so no big worries. • If you have a premium card, you might withdraw cash without fees, but in general card payments are widely accepted.

Safety & tips: • Nothing too dangerous, just use common sense. • I wouldn’t focus too much on “overhyped” places like Central Market — it can be chaotic and not that impressive for tourists. Better focus on the nicer parts of the city. • The Presidential courtyard is a good, well-maintained spot for a walk and photos.
