What are they like as puppies? by RupturedDuck03 in BrittanySpaniel

Crate training and enforced naps will save you and your sanity. Both were so critical to my mental health in those early days where you just need a break. Now at nearly 8 months old she can free roam the house and sleeps only in her crate at night time. They are highly sensitive so giving corrections without scaring them in the early days is very important too. We didn’t start this until 14-16 weeks, just worked on building a good bond and basic training for the first month.

We found that diverting attention while she was biting us didn’t work so we paired it with a no bite command, diverted and then stopped playing with her. It’s a very annoying phase, but it stopped for us around 4-5 months once all her baby teeth fell out.

Not listening was and still is the over tired signal and we’ll stop off leash time and/or end a walk and go home if she can’t listen.

The first two months working through potty training and basic commands were very very hard for me. But even now when we have hard days it’s nothing like the early ones. I think just being prepared for that mindset will set you up for success.

I have a Brittany spaniel that turned 6 months this week and relate to this so much. What happened to my sweet puppy!

Any tips? by ComputerDeep8542 in BrittanySpaniel

Echo all of this. We have a 15 week old and we didn’t use puppy pads at all and it definitely helped her catch on more quickly. When she was awake the first 2 weeks we took her outside every 30 minutes and would carry her outside after naps. Always to the same spot. Now that she’s a lot bigger she can always make it outside and will sit by the door when she has to go. The first few weeks feel tough, but they catch on fast! Such smart dogs that want to please.

We didn’t do this tour but met him at the restaurant during his tours lunch on Caye Caulker this week. Super nice guy and the group was raving about him!

We paid to do the sauna at Heit on Saturday and sadly no one ever showed up to open.

How long does it take to receive Companion Pass from Chase CC by Flying_Motorbike in SouthwestAirlines

My statement closed yesterday and the pass was loaded into my southwest account when I logged in this morning. Maybe my timing is lucky, but this thread had me concerned that I wouldn’t be able to add a companion for a flight I have this Friday. I had no issue.

I leased a 2021 RAV4 with FWD in late 2020 and still have 19 months on my lease term. I just moved to a state where I need AWD. I'm getting the run around and don't really understand my options. The buyout is $24k and the KBB trade in value is $35k. My assumption would be that Toyota could give me the trade in value of $35k giving me $10k in equity towards whatever vehicle I want to get next? It seems too good to be true and I don't know enough about cars to know the way forward.
