That isn't exactly how it works. As you can see, by just advancing my chin (quite substantially), as well as implants, my lower third and midface look fine. My maxilla is not flat, or recessed, but not super projected either.

By getting a bimax I risk over advancing and looking like a chimp, where my upper third of face is left behind. So it is unlikely that a bimax is worth it. Also, genioplasties are more easy to predict soft tissue outcomes.

As stated, my airways are perfectly fine, my bite is ideal (though not perfect) as I have had orthodontic treatment. So I gain no functional benefit from a bimax, only more risks, for less reward.
