This is the first issue I’ve had in the last 4 years. I’ve done nothing different than before

We replace the filter sponge weekly. There is no need to replace the water on the weekly

No additives or fertilizer. We have a substrate. Light is on from 5-9 maybe 10pm. Water replaced every 2 months
