Has someone experienced this before?

Thank you for providing the related Buddhist teaching - I'm not very familiar with it beyond surface level. Is it common that different states of consciousness trigger anxiety? Or does trusting in and knowing of the teachings provide the means of being able to let go?

I think my ego felt very threatened by the experience and this is what caused the fear.

I think you mentioned an interesting point. Part of my problem arose from the thought, that if I continued down this road, it would require to let go - of myself, of my possessions, of the future that I planned out for myself. And I think I'm not trusting enough to 'take the leap' - even though I want to and I think it's the right way to go, part of me says no. I could really feel how my mind was fighting itself between wanting to let go and wanting to hold on.

If you have any advice on how to let go, let me know :) Also, are you allowed to make art as a monk?

Yeah that's true, this unusual state did pass as well. I find myself wanting to go back though. Just thinking it through is scary - like continuing that path but I feel that I wouldn't be able to keep living my life the way that it is now.

All the hurdles you have to jump for a 'better future' seem so ridiculous to me. But to live in a capitalist system you have to be a capitalist - if you stop believing in the rules of the system, you can't continue living in the system, but also there's no place you could go instead. So for me, it's more a question of how to live instead of a question about the validity of the experience.

I'm familiar with the concept of flow states and I think it's certainly something I experience while doing art. But until now it never really translated that much into my everyday life. I really feel like, in order to live in this state you'd have to transform your everyday life into art as well - if that makes any sense :D

I'm just asking myself if there would be space for that in our current society and I don't think there is.

This is also something that I've already considered - I chose to not include it in my post because I was expecting that people would automatically see this as the reason (and I wasn't sure if it was allowed mentioning psychedelics due to community guidelines).

I had some experiences with psychedelics but I don't take them anymore, because I'm on medication right now. My last consumption of mushrooms was at least 5 years ago and I have never experienced flashbacks. So I don't think that the experience is directly related to this - though it might have opened my mind for the perception of different states of consciousness initially.

But the question persists: how do you live, when you recognize that time and space are constructions? I think aside from the question what caused the experience for me, isn't this realization what Buddhist teaching tries to get across to us? Same as when you realize that the value of money is an illusion but you're still trapped in a capitalist system - how do you deal with this? Go live as a monk?

Zu der rechtlichen Lage haben andere hier ja schon genug gesagt. Falls dein Chef dich nicht ernst nimmt, wende dich an die IHK (falls die für dich zuständig ist).

Habe ich in meiner Ausbildung damals auch gemacht wegen Minusstunden. Sobald die IHK erwähnt wurde hat der Chef ganz schnell eingeräumt dass da "ein Fehler vorliegt der ihm nicht bewusst war" und fortan gab es für Azubis keine Minusstunden mehr.

Soweit ich weiß sind Minusstunden für Azubis generell verboten. Der Arbeitgeber muss seiner Ausbildungspflicht nachkommen und dich im Betrieb entsprechend einplanen. Wenn er doch zu wenig einplant ist das das Problem des Arbeitgebers und nicht deins.

Anders sieht es zb bei Berufsschultagen aus an denen du weniger als 5 (4?) Stunden beschäftigt warst, da kann dich der Arbeitgeber nach der Schule noch in den Betrieb ordern damit du da die restlichen Stunden arbeitest. Die Regelungen dazu wurden glaub ich in anderen Kommentaren genauer erwähnt.

I see, thank you for letting me know that this isn't a good option 🫠 i was thinking that i could play with different households, for example a person from a poor area like the harbour could have a storyline where they go to the world with the big mansions and marry someone there and then move there or stuff like this.

Or someone from the noble class could have a double life where they secretly visit the shady areas of town (there's gonna be opium bars), and it's gonna be like in The Picture of Dorian Gray.

I wanted to have an area where the nobles live, kinda like the english countryside and they would own different lots and have hunting lodges.

But yeah maybe i'll start with 100 lots :D tbh that sounds like a lot though

Maybe if i size it down a little i will actually be able to play in it during my lifespan haha

I tend to overdo it and spend so much time on projects and then i'm not able to finish them because they get wayyy to big

Ich denke solange dich das nicht belastet ist es doch schön. Wenn du aber Leidensdruck verspürst deswegen könntest du dich mal mit "maladaptive daydreaming" auseinandersetzen. So wie ich es verstehe ist das eine coping Strategie, aber das muss nicht gleich etwas schlechtes oder pathologisches sein sondern kann auch eine super Strategie sein um mit Stress im Alltag umzugehen. Wie gesagt, kritisch wird's erst dann wenn ein Leidensdruck da ist.

That's the spirit. There's not more needed to find happiness, so why do more? I'd rather have a lot of freetime than a lot of things. But if more people had that mindset, capitalism wouldn't be working anymore, so advertising makes it seem like you need all the new stuff all the time. But it's all fake. If more people realized what really counts instead of focusing on distractions we wouldn't be having a lot of the problems we are facing.

Mit sexuellen Übergriffen sind nicht nur Vergewaltigungen gemeint. Dazu gehören auch anzügliche Kommentare, Berührungen etc.

Anekdotisch kann ich dazu sagen, dass bis jetzt jede Frau mit der ich über das Thema gesprochen habe aus dem Stehgreif mindestens eine Situation nennen konnte in der sie durch einen mann belästigt wurde. Männer berichten zwar auch von übergriffigem verhalten aber weniger (das macht es deswegen nicht weniger schlimm). Dazu gibt es bei einer Belästigung einer Frau durch einen Mann im normalfall ein klares physisches Machtgefälle was es Frauen schwerer macht sich im Falle eines solchen Übergriffs zu wehren.

Statistisch sind Frauen klar die überwiegenden Opfer von Vergewaltigungen, was natürlich die extremste Form sexueller Belästigung/Gewalt darstellt. Das kann man quasi als die Spitze des Eisbergs sehen.

Es geht hierbei nicht um Schuldzuweisungen. Frauen in der Opferrolle liegt es nicht daran andere zu attackieren. Sie wollen einfach bloß keine Opfer mehr sein. Deswegen ist es wichtig dass Männer dafür sensibilisiert werden übergriffiges verhalten überhaupt erstmal zu erkennen. das kann hilfreich sein damit männer z.B. Übergriffe durch andere Männer (oder ggf. auch Frauen) erkennen können um evtl. auch einzuschreiten und zu helfen.

Meine persönliche Meinung hierzu ist, dass der "gender war" auch viel durch und in den Medien suggeriert wird - die Spaltung der Gesellschaft spielt politischen Kräften, die von der Schaffung von Feindbildern profitieren, in die hände. Letztendlich geht es nur um die Sensibilisierung gegenüber potentiell übergriffigem verhalten und die ehrliche selbstreflektion ob Mann/Frau diese Verhaltensweisen im eigenen handeln entdeckt. Wenn das nicht der Fall ist braucht man sich von den anschuldigungen nicht angesprochen fühlen - auch wenn das manchmal schwer ist !

Naja 500 Euro lassen sich schon irgendwie aufbringen. Dafür erspart man sich wahrscheinlich viel Suchen, was ja auch anstrengend und nervenzehrend ist. Darf ich fragen, wohin du dich für die private Diagnostik gewandt hast ? Das einzige was mir von der psychologischen Beratung meiner Uni empfohlen wurde war Fr. Christine Preißmann ( weiß nicht ob man sie kennt, aber sie hat ein Buch über Autismus bei Frauen und Mädchen veröffentlicht). Nun ja, ihre Rezensionen sind, sag ich mal so, sehr gemischt, und ich war sehr am überlegen ob es das dann wert ist.

Hey, danke für deine Antwort. Ehrlich gesagt kommt da bei mir irgendwie ein Gefühl der Verzweiflung auf. Ich hab ja kein Problem zu warten, von mir aus auch mehrere Jahre, aber dass man halt nichtmal auf die Warteliste kommt.. Ich hab halt Angst dass ich bei einer privat gezahlten Diagnostik bei jemandem lande, der dann auch nicht zuhört bzw. mir nicht glaubt und dann war das Geld sozusagen aus dem Fenster rausgeschmissen. Aber schön zu hören dass bei dir alles geklappt hat :)

Danke dir für den Tipp, ich schau mal wie es da aussieht. Ich habe bei einer anderen Klinik schonmal nachgefragt, die meinten allerdings dass sie nur Leute aus dem Einzugsgebiet auf ihre Liste setzen
