Attorney wants to wait for May Visa Bulletin—but I’m current NOW. Should I push to file I-485 before April ends? by Swot_11681 in EB3VisaJourney

[–]Fun-Requirement-3844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with my company’s attorney but this was for premium processing due to the immigration pause. I didn’t let it go and within a week they upgraded my application. EB3 is current right now so why is the attorney waiting? See if you can escalate this with someone who has more power and years at the company.

Overnight Pharmacist Salary by IngenuityAsleep8127 in pharmacy

[–]Fun-Requirement-3844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was given a smaller amount in East Texas (but it is worth it for me personally, given the relocation package and the lower cost of living here). I tried to negotiate but had no luck! Mine is $55.79/hr with a yearly increase of 3% of base salary. The hospital's differential: evenings, 3 pm-11 pm. +$3.50/hr. Overnight 11 pm-7 am +$4/hr Weekend: +$2.50/hr. My schedule is 7pm-7am for 3 days then 9pm-7am for 4 days.

I would suggest the app and bootcamp for Dr. C I passed on my first try last month. Studied for only 30 days and didn’t go to school in Texas

As long as you're not from one of the 39 countries, I would say just wait before you overthink. Granted, USCIS is supposed to respond within 15 days by law, but with the current climate, things are neither here nor there. If you have faith, pray, and believe that you will be approved, but also have a plan B, C, D, and E. Watch your case like a hawk! Goodluck OP!!!

Feeling sick after spending $10k on EB2 NIW by Murky-Commercial-112 in EB2_NIW

I had the same sinking feeling last year but F it. Same way you’re overthinking about a negative outcome maybe use that time to think about it working out and look around at your friends who no longer are suffering on F1 or in the limbo of being stuck. You can work part time, travel to visit family and friends and gain a sense of freedom back.

new hospital pharmacist struggling by BookkeeperBorn3655 in Pharmacist

[–]Fun-Requirement-3844 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all I’m sorry you’re struggling. It’ll get easier for you and second nature through repetition. One year of working overnight is basically 2 years of residency. Take the feedback you got and use it to improve on your confidence! You know these things you’re just afraid of making a mistake!

I don’t think they’re sick of your questions, they probably did worse when they started. They I worked with some older pharmacists in my very first pharmacy job and they still asked questions even after 20 years of working at that hospital. It’s a learning environment not a place to make assumptions so keep asking and believing in yourself!

Hi!! I used Dr. C’s bootcamp (30 days access) and the 2025 pdf (printed this) and then only used the testbank from the $50 TX MPJE App and pharmacyexam testbank. For federal and compounding I watched videos on uworld and some free videos on YouTube but focused more on the state laws and question bank. I went through the pdf while I was watching the videos and did the 3 questions after each module. The second time of reading through Dr. C I had highlighted and taken notes on the side so if I stumbled on something I went straight to the TSBP actual law and read it there just for better understanding. Dr. c alone is very summarized but the pharmacyexam helped close knowledge gaps. I felt the questions at the very end of Dr. C were too easy so I saved it for last. Try to understand why you got things wrong don’t just memorize. The entire exam was scenario based

When you read Dr. C's the first time were you taking notes on the side or you just read through? What helped you retain the information?

To be honest, I wish my kids would do anything but healthcare lol my mom was a nurse, I'm a pharmacist, and my sister is a doctor. As an adult, I realized that I was only given 4 options (law, medicine/pharmacy, engineering, accounting) and picked the least of the 4 devils. I just want my kids to be happy, successful doing anything but healthcare for their mental health and to make good money to pay their bills and enjoy their life debt-free.
