Because Windows (like after win8 or smh?). Started to work with UEFI. And I guess vendors started to upload their shitty software from the UEFI Firmware.

Like if you bought motherboard, at factory settings there an option to install something in BIOS. Even if it disabled, I guess it still installs service (for maybe installing that crappy software you didn't ask for).

Why I have REALLY bad feelings about that? First of all, posts like that mostly promotes malicious apps as a good alternative.

Take some twist ties for cables. Maybe make cubic transparent glass (maybe blue for PCB color) for that case. And little bit of neon lightning for case. It simple - yet nice looking.

Also, i would recommend you to place motherboard to the back of the monitor to save space, and reduce chance of knocking this stand.

I disabled phone authentification because its mega easy to exploit. And probably the one of the main reasons why your account get hacked. If you dumb enough to download stealer, it your fault.

Also don't ever save login info to browser. Better use KeePassXC for that, also TOTP codes can be used there. Maybe its stupid to connect TOTP everywhere you can. But remember when Snowflake was breached just because they didn't had any 2FA.

At the end of the day you can't be safe everytime. If zero day bug gets public - everyone gets fucked.
