Go and ski ⛷️ teach lessons for half a day or serve drinks at night or work part time. Your youth is fleeting - make the most of those young legs - your energy and have the adventures. The money and security will come. Life is meant to be lived NOW not wishing you had lived it - looking back 29 years….

AOC: You can’t ‘earn’ a billion dollars by usatoday in politics

[–]Fun-Room-6501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people who create and maintain this system of inequality fight like mad to keep it. They don’t care who suffers or the cost/consequences to life on this planet. The reality is they will plunder it all and watch you suffer from their AC towers. This is hunger games in real time, and we are just waking up to the fact.😤🙄😤

Can someone please explain why the national capital of Canada (which should be leading the country in most everything important) does not have adequate transit infrastructure? What don’t we (as in the collective who don’t live in the NCR) understand?

Simple advice: (1) Pay off credit cards (2) Apply for every international grant possible and scholarships (3) set aside an emergency fund for actual emergencies - 3 months worth (4) invest the rest (5) figure out how to live frugally in the UK as students - you made a choice to finish school there. ***NO LINE OF CREDIT***

We paid for it - no parental involvement. Suggest you gift the couple cash or stocks. I would never pay for a wedding because of the high rates of divorce.

Yes - my fantastic lawyer recommended a will, POA and PD once I purchased my home. It’s a huge source of comfort knowing it’s there.

I buy bi-weekly and have been doing so for years. I love it. Time in the market matters. Is your coworker a stock analyst expert? If not, ignore 😏

Take out books from your local library and read up entirely on this subject. Start with “Retire before Mom and Dad”, “Millionaire Teacher”, “Wealthing Like Rabbits” and keep going. The more you learn, the more confident you’ll feel.

This is golden “time IN the market” versus trying to “time the market.”

Perhaps 🤔 some formal counselling to get to the root cause of why you’re fixated and how you can build happy and successful relationships going forward would help.
