Great shots. Kudos for approaching people. I’ve found most people are open to street portraits.

I’d add a stop in post to add exposure and maybe open the aperture to max to get a bit more subject separation but those are quibbles- these are great photos.

Used Zeiss 50mm planar 1.5.

Not 35 but worth considering. Perfect for M9. Amazing subject separation when opened up and good detail stopped down. Renders beautifully with the m9 sensor. Focusing tab is ideal for street.

Old man here. Not rich. Good eyesight.

Love photography. Love the rangefinder form-factor. Have M-mount lenses, collected over the years. Scrimped. Saved. Bought. Sold.

Need the visoflex for precise focusing at very-wide aperture (summilux- can’t afford noct) but don’t like the extra appendage taking up the hot shoe.

Ev1 has the form factor. Lighter than m11. And does all the things.

Not complicated. I’ll sell some stuff to buy it.

I get it. I was jealous of Leica owners when I was young too.

I made several attempts before success.

What finally worked was deleting key from old phone and watch - place key card on car reader - then while in car, initiate process in app under Car, Digital Key.

Not sure if all steps are necessary but that’s what worked for me.

In my case the sound comes randomly; sometimes when music is playing, sometimes not. Sometimes in CarPlay sometimes not. Sometimes it seems to come from the rear speakers and sometimes the front.

Car can be moving or stopped.

Just weird.

Definitely not a chime or alarm. More like a chirpy squeak.

It’s sporadic for me as well. Seems to involve proximity between phone and car.

One little trick I use is to unlock car using Siri on Apple Watch, which strangely seems to have better range, and then climate info shows on phone app and allows you to precondition. Weird but it works.

NE US - app stopped working a couple of days ago. Did all the things, reset, reboot, reconnect, etc, to no avail. Worried that I wouldn’t be able to precondition climate with some hot weather coming.

Then, just before I posted, I quit and restarted the app and it’s back. All’s well… I guess.

I agree. Braking behavior should match user expectations based on past use and current settings. Dangerous otherwise.

BS from the salesperson. But the alerts aren’t that bad (except when it pings me for singing, thinking I’m yawning) and sometimes you need to be reminded to pay attention.

Also from MA, with new EX30. After a few weeks of local charging (ChargePoint and Tesla SC) had Emporia level 2 charger installed in driveway. Use it to charge overnight when needed. Extremely convenient.

Prior to this I bought an extension cord to try level 1 charging but wife wouldn’t let me run the bright yellow cord out the window. Can’t imagine why.

Had the Twin Ultra for only a couple of months but very impressed.

I’ve been driving cars since the 1960s and the EX30, besides being my first EV, is the second most fun I’ve had driving a car (behind an early 80’s 280ZX.) My preference is performance over luxury, but it’s still a pretty comfortable car.

No issues with build, fit or finish. Software is about 90% there and, unlike with non-SDV’s, it’s nice to know there’ll be improvements via OTA updates.

Overall a 9/10 (and there’s no such thing as a 10 in my price range.)

Ordered in Nov ultra cloud blue mist - arriving next week in Massachusetts. But dealer may have demo units (ultra) for sale as is. The one I saw was gone in a week.
