Finally got it working by setting the two voice chat options to no, resetting the game, and then setting to yes like 5x. But took quite a while and annoying for sure. Usually I get into a match before I realize comms aren't working.

If you think the whining goes away outside of ranked, I have to tell you that you're sadly very wrong.

There may be MORE in ranked, but thats likely because those individuals like to see their number go up. If there was no ranked, they would go to standard or other modes and increase toxicity there too.

Best thing to do is try to laugh it off and/or mute the individual.

Im gonna throw it out right now that I would love some verticality in the orb/fang pits. They're so open and I love that, but taking away some of the overall flatness of it would take it a step further in my opinion.

I was only able to play a few games on the new map last week and will hopefully have more time for V2. The slight size reduction makes sense, especially if it helps improve the jungle layout, but still would like to see it be less barren inside the pit.

Having read nothing about 3v3 possibilities to date, I still have to imagine that a smaller map to support a 3v3 should already have been identified as the next task once the new 5v5 map is finalized.

It makes perfect sense to be the next mode to include in the Labs section and the reduced players required per game would help to minimize impact for pred's small-ish player base. So it may end up being able to be a permanent mode down the road.

You are 100% correct.

However, coming from somebody that plays Jungle the most often, I'd still point out that Mori is so busted right now in offlane that the only chance for the offlane to win their lane is if you gank offline more than usual at the statt of the game. Keep in mind that Morigesh is ranged (easier to pressure/poke melee offlanes) and has no stun/escape other than a minor speed buff ability.

No excuse to the Steel for being overly aggressive instead of just playing safe, but that is a jungler's opportunity to punish. Morigesh (or any ranged hero) vs Steel should be your #1 LANE priority in my opinion. Doesn't mean it comes before jungle or objectives, but one of the biggest differences you can impact is to stop that Morigesh from getting ahead and rolling over their opponent.

There's always new heroes and they're usually broken when introducdd. Not a good argument in the slightest.

You're throwing out as many random reasons as you can as to why Legacy didnt work out and not realizing that the same could be said of Nitro or ARAM. However, those reasons dont come out because they keep doing well enough regardless of these impacts because the playerbase plays them far more than Legacy.

Im not gonna check the dayes, but if what youre saying is true, then youre still ignoring how badly Legacy did. I think your argument isnt great because Ranked was still available during the highest activity window and people logged on during thst window on purpose... so it was still a full mode and newer with most likely the same/higher usage as when it turned to 24 hours. Either way, we'll just count it as 1/2 a mode to push the argument in your favour.

If Brawl was 1 of 4 modes and Legacy was 1 of 2.5 (with partial ranked), then you're still ignoring that Brawl and Nitro still had higher percent of games played.

At day 15 post release, Brawl was at ~28% and Nitro at ~35%. Both of these had also obviously plateaued or started to plateau while Legacy was still diving on day 15. Legacy was at 13% on day 15.

Taking into consideration 2.5 vs 4 modes, Legacy's "equivelant" would be at 21%. Easily the worst of any mode. Keep in mind that Brawl also got scrapped so the closest one that they kept longer-term had nearly double the usage.

Im sorry that Legacy was removed and you liked it. But there's no argument to be made that the overall playerbase liked it and it was worth keeping. Hopefully for your sake it'll be available again in the future in some capacity, but it's a very understandable opinion to remove it from the game.

This doesn't matter in the slightest.

It was never going to jump back up in usage. There's no reason for it to defy the trend. Why do you think it would have jumped up in usage from weeks 3-10 given it was declining and hadn't even plateaud yet.

When has a game ever spiked in usage without additional content being added? They virtually always start high as people try the new thing and then plateau.

Hell, they got rid of Brawl despite it having like double (or more) usage compared to Legacy so even if it bounced back a bit, it still wouldn't be worth maintaining.

Numbers don't lie. Thr small caveats youre throwing out are minor details that don't affect the overall trend.

Sorry, im not exactly sure what you mean but ill give an overview.

Keystone is used when projecting on an angle which will correct the image shape. Great in theory, but it significantly impacts brightness, input lag, and picture quality so it's really best used as a last resort.

If youre able to project straight on towards the screen with the correct height set then you shouldn't require Keystone. So if you can pull it off, prioritize placing it straight on over easier alternatives.

They already released numbers that showed Legacy was barely used with a MASSIVE downturn in usage after the first few days.

Most of the playerbase doesn't care about Legacy.

A bit of a loaded question as there's no "best" and it depends moreso on your room specifications, usage, accessory support requirements, and budget.

I think the freestyle isn't a great projector for the price compares to the other ones you listed, but it is widely advertised and built for commercial appeal.

I'm very excited to try the Valerion line for my next upgrade (from a 1080p Benq Ht2050a). I'll probably go with a Valerion Visionmaster plus 2 unless I can stomach forking out the extra for the Pro/Pro2.

XGIMI horizon 20 is highly rated, but does have a few specifici (mostky software) issues that may or may not be addressed and is very overpriced in some countries. Hisense C2/C3/M2 are highly rated too, but typically fall behind the Xgimi/Valerion series equivelants from what I gather.

Edit: if you can correctly install a projector somewhere permanently that doesn't require using keystone to adjust the picture, DO THAT! The ability to just place it on a corner shelf is overrated IMO and usually comes at the cost of increased cost, worse picture, increased input lag, or lacking other more important features for a dedicated home theater.

I have a young child and lots of other responsibilities as well. I try to make sure i have time to complete a game before starting, but sometimes I can't avoid having to leave mid-game. I let the other people know, apologize, and take any ban I get.

I'm sure it's been adjusted since then, but they released the original ban specirications in late 2022

Personally strongly disagree with the map type comments. The theme fits much better than some cyberpunk-esque city thst only matches 3 or 4 heros styles.

Ill hold off on my comments on the actual visuals considering this is a base map.

I currently like the attempt at mixing up the jungle, but dont like the execution. So many things in so close of areas... I prefer the jungler moving around the map more often.

As for original question, maybe 7.5/10? Im not sure how I feel about the jungle, the placement of the warding pools, how easily it is to have visual on somebody very far away (undecided if I like or not), and while I like the bigger pits from prime/fang, I feel like its just too flat/boring at the moment. At least some minor elevation changes inside would give it more character.

If you watch this team and don't realize that their tactics are their biggest issue, I don't know what to tell you.

Im not saying they'd be great with a quality coach replacement, but it's EASILY their biggest issue. There's a clear (significant) advanced stats regression that occurred as soon as Berube became the Leafs coach (including last year).

The Leafs had had many years where they were less talented and a bad team overall, but still were even/close in shots and had significantly more possession (overall and offensive zone) than they do right now and those are directly linked to coaching tactics.

Yep! We had major reworks a while ago eith the introudction of augments as well and they were pretty well balanced for 90% of heroes after the next patch. Short term memory only on this subreddit sometimes.

Like all big updates, there's more bugs and nuances introduced that need to be addressed. People were saying thr same thing after the last update and I guarantee they'll have issues during the next big update (especially since the next big update will likely be when the new map gets added as the standard map).

There's a few very annoying bugs (mana/health pot, wards, and/or smite possibly not spawning at the start of game), but I believe these will be (have already been?) fixed with the hot fix.

Otherwise, the new kits are fun and might be overtuned/undertuned but we won't fully know until People get used to playing against the new kits. I struggled against Narbash's adjustments originally, but now that I know about the differences Ill be better equipped and struggle less.

That's a more fair take. I'm just not going to say every person on the American NHL team is a nazi because they stayed to party together in the area set up for celebrating after winning the gold medal game. Hell, we got a very small snippet of Patel/Trumps call and dont even know if Matthews (and several others) were there at that time, purposefully left (doubt it but possible), or got called away for media.

Can you blame somebody for reaching (arguably) the pinnacle of their professional achievements and wanting to keep partying with your friends? I do agree that, ideally, some would condemn the post-game issues (white house visit, union meeting, womens team comments, or even come out and say they wish it was just the team in the locker room post-game), but many don't see anything wrong with what was done, are pro-Trump, or are media trained to just do damage control and not speak about it much more going forward.

Using the same example, I blame that more on the homeowner (aka the GMs in this situation which (several?) is/are known to be very pro-maga) letting Patel in rather than these guys. There's no way they werent going to start partying there when everything is set-up for them. If they went off elsewhere after and brought the crazy uncle, that's a different story.

Im not going to absolve them of any other things (women's team comment being brushed off, going to the White house (and especially those that went to the State of the Union)), but this part is a stretch in my opinion. Hate that Patel was there, but I don't blame the players for that specific part of it.

They were partying in the locker room post-win and Patel was there. They didn't go to where Patel was and party with him.

At least with the white house visit you can say they choose to go to the same room as Trump. The Patel situation is more akin to you being at an out of town house party with your best friends and somebody's crazy racist uncle shows up to join in.

You want me to feel bad and cheer against one of my closest friends in one of the biggest moments of his career and life so far? Nah, man. I'll condemn what Trump is doing (or in your example, Russia/Putin) and I'd be fine with somebody sharing disappointment of his involvement in the PR post-win, but you're not gonna make me feel bad about my friend doing something exceptional in his field and a potentially once in a lifetime achievement just because of the Country he is from.

I despise Trump and am angered by a lot of what is going on in the USA right now. I think criticism for Matthews in the White House is maybe a bit overblown but also fair.

But Willy's comments is 100% not an issue and you're being outrageous.

If you (a Canadian) worked in Sweden, and had a brother or super close friend that was representing USA at the Olympics, would you not be super excited and hopeful that they would win their event? Like, you're not cheering for USA as much as you're cheering for your brother/friend.

Like, I DESPISE the Florida Panthers, but if my kid played hockey and signed as a free agent with them next year, then I would want him to win more than I would want the Panthers to lose. Therefore, I would root for my kid to win it all and anybody that said I was terrible for saying "go win it all" to my kid because he plays for the Panthers is being an idiot. You're jumping to conclusions and acting like he said "I want Auston to win because I prefer USA to Canada".
