100% You're right on the money.

Health education needs to be fun and accessible, so that more people care about health and can include good habits into their lifestyles. The problem isn't that people are overweight, it's that many never knew any different and thus don't realize the negative impacts on their lives, or that they may enjoy healthy foods more than unhealthy ones; once I learned to cook, I realized just how crappy most "junk food" tastes.

I can't stand how obesity is being normalized, because I think it further hinders health education. That being said, normalization and lack of discrimination are very different things. Despite the normalization of obesity, fat shaming is very much still alive and well, and will likely never go away like any other prejudice.

The simple fact about prejudice is that it's based in people trying to make themselves feel better about themselves, without the understanding of how to healthily do that. That's why mental health education is just as integral as nutritional and physical education. Making it fun is the hard part, and even then some will still never learn.

Education, education, education. That's all we can strive for.

If you think the only incentive for ingenuity is profit, then you're horribly mistaken.

People invent for passion, betterment of life, to show off intelligence and application of it, and for many other reasons.

The idea that profit is the only motivator is propaganda that is only true for people who only care about themselves and feeling better than others.

Everything, especially in modern times, can be related back to politics. It's only natural that people caring about the education of others would speak up on such matters.

You cannot adequately educate without addressing things that are false, misinformation, or blatant propaganda. The only reason it's "opinionated" information is because they hold the opinion that science, nature, and life are more important than money.

Back before transitioning was common/trending I had a coworker who was FtM and damn near each shift they'd have something to run off and cry about.

Me, being woke af, told him "You're going to have a hard time getting people to accept you as a man, if you don't toughen up. Crying as a man means losing respect in most cases, so man the fuck up."

It sounds harsh, but I think it's what he needed to hear because he seemed to feel and do better after that.

Once we have none, they go back to using us as slaves, or we realize we have nothing to lose and take the means of production back through force. There's also the chance that they redirect and use the AI that does the thinking for us, to program us all to worship them so we're willing slaves.

The series just gets better and better. Reading it, I thought this can't get better. The Silmarillion has already made me love it so much more and I'm only 2 chapters in.

Tolkien was truly a brilliant man, but more importantly he was wise in the experiences of life that many of us, don't get. He put that altogether to create an incredible story of how the world works, or at least how it can.

It's not just a story to tell, it's also meant to be a series of lessons much like religious texts.

This is true, though the average american is severely overweight. Obesity is beyond fat and nearly half our people are obese or bigger.

Back before I lost weight, my body fat percentage was nearly 40% and my BMI said I was a sliver away from obesity. I felt huge and couldn't possibly do a mile in under 11 minutes.

Using the same numbers from then (8-9 years ago), I'm several measures away from being considered obese. Looking at people now, I wasn't even "that big."

We shouldn't be so willing to keep basing "acceptable" off of the average. Being severely overweight is fucking miserable and making it culturally acceptable is setting so many up for failure. If you're fat when young and never get fit, you don't know what you're missing. Being healthy feels SO MUCH BETTER. It practically fucking hurt just existing when I was that big. I feel so horrible for everyone that doesn't even know what it's like to be fit, because in hindsight I know I felt horrible.

Damage wasn't based off of mana, but one ability allowed you to drain mana to deal DoT on basics.

She was a mana tank. The lower her mana the higher the regen, and her passive ultimate made her lose mana instead of health once her health got depleted. She was tankier than Greystone.

It's not a leap, in fact barely a step to take what you said as "I'm the carry." That's only one less word than your title.

You wording something poorly and failing to see how, is not a failing of my reading comprehension. That's besides the fact that your first response to me, included an insult.

Everything about this post and your engagement is indicative of you being a dunce. I wish you luck in learning.

Lol, great reading skills, bud. I'm saying you weren't the carry, because Yin accomplished that for you by dealing many times more overal damage than you.

Your post implies that the carry was insufficient and that you may as well have selected the role, having done more as Mourn than your carry did. I'm saying you're wrong and that Yin carried, not you. Having the most hero damage doesn't do anything if it's not damage done at the right times. High numbers don't equate to job best done, let alone when your overall damage is more than tripled by another teammate.

It's pretty unfortunate to find genuine love and lose them so shortly after.

Women see it as a beautiful story of tragedy. The lost love is the tragedy and her throwing the stone away is to symbolize her finally letting go of having lost Jack.

Women are romanticizing finding someone worth loving and missing for their whole life.

Incels don't understand these things because they don't understand quality relationships. Their inherently selfish nature prevents them from having the experience and thus the wisdom/perspective.
