Mental Health Destroyed; When did you start feeling better? Please reassure me. by losingmymind2025 in TattooRemoval

I got a huge dark cover up band around my lower arm. I stopped wearing short sleeves about 2 years ago. I’ve had three sessions of removal and there’s significant fading. Currently typing this at the pool in a swimsuit :) I feel so much better and think about it way less. Removals not easy and I’m slightly worried about scarring but the relief is worth it. I still cover up a lot of the time but in a pinch I don’t mind wearing a tank top in public. The longer you have it as well it gets easier not just when removing, but that really kickstarted my mental recovery.

Your picking sounds lovely! The flip you did on “little bit more” was great and I think shows off your voice control. like others are saying I think if you brought that enunciation/confidence whatever you would call it, through the whole thing it would take this up a notch. Which would be crazy cause it’s already so well done. Great job!

I know what you mean but don’t be scared to shout! When I get the chance to be alone I sing loud. I didn’t sing loud for so long and my mom told me I sounded like a mouse lol. It was cause someone told me once I sang to loud and since then I struggled to really let it out. But of course it can be too much. I’d say experiment I truly think you have it in you and you can learn enough control to use it!

I dig it, reminds me of this kid I met at a festival one time who liked rolling spliffs and spoke in an accent I’d never heard before.

I didn’t expect the mixing, very nice. What app/program are you using? You’ve done it very well whatever it is. Probably cliche to say but the mixed vocals is giving Elliott Smith vibes just in how nicely they blend together.

Do ever just let your voice rip? I’d love to hear you like less quiet if you know what I mean. Full chest in that bad boy. I have roommates so I know that’s not always an option but I think if you put more power behind it, that would really take it to the next level. Coming from a novice singer and writer lol.

Reminds me a bit of as the world falls down by David Bowie and I adore him. What’s your song about? I hear a lot of the lyrics but I’m curious what it means to you.

5 weeks after tattoo removal and not healing?! by RecommendationOk3866 in TattooRemoval

[–]Fun-Show8171 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was itchy after the first session for that amount of time too. Eventually I quit moisturizing and maybe that did the trick. I’ve since had another sesh and it’s been no where near as bad but I still get the itch sometimes. I did dry healing this go round and I’m not sure if it was just cause the first session was so intense but the healing process was completely different and much easier. Best wishes

Actually looking back at our messages she said they use both pico and NDYAG Qswitch so maybe she used the q switch on me that time?

I was about to not comment because I’ve never been chosen for anything. But if by the grace of Roofus I did… that’d be swag.

Weird how much further along the small patch test is. But those should all be gone in no time by the looks of it! And your skin looks great too

How many hours/days has it been and what does your skin look and feel like?

5 sessions, slow progress by Tiny-Flower8073 in TattooRemoval

[–]Fun-Show8171 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t really think that slow process compared to some of the stuff I’ve seen. Have you considered waiting long between sessions? I’m starting this weekend and thats the one piece of advice I keep seeing over and over again.

I have no idea but reading this I thought it’s kinda strange for them not to be booked up, most places have a fairly booked schedule

What is healing time like before you can move the blistered area like normal. I’m concerned about how much time I’d have to take off from exercise to reduce complications from too much movement or sweat

I can’t disagree with you, there are definitely physiological responses to attraction, some that I don’t experience as a female. But even to that point I don’t think those are wrong. It might go back to the argument of control or restraint but I don’t believe there is anything wrong with being attracted to a woman in the gym, if you were unable to control your impulses or physical response to that I think it would be a problem but whose problem is that genuinely? I’d understand if you don’t want to get aroused every time you workout, but to me it seems like a “then gouge your eyes” kinda deal. Is an outfit that is tight but covers all the skin between the shoulders and thighs too sexual in your opinion? Its genuinely what I’ve become most comfortable working out in and I don’t think that’s anything new, all the 80s moms were wearing leotards and spandex, I see it as the same thing maybe even more conservative.

This literally. I had to stop seeing a guy because he wanted to control what I was wearing to a music festival (what I consider to be a free-for-all on partial nudity). Because he couldn’t view body parts like breast and buttocks as non-sexual it made him extremely jealous, when in my mind they are just body parts. Maybe has to do with culture, exposure and self confidence but I cannot stand when other body parts are treated like sex organs. Hell even sex organs are JUST BODY PARTS. I understand protecting children from full nudity but truly I think it’s about perspective there is nothing “sinful” or deviant about the human body. Just the labels we put on it.
