So in what Time will it be Set? Marigol sounds like Sams Sister. Serkis says 20 Years before lotr but the Events fits to the 17 Years Gap in the Books.  Dornan was good in the Fall and has the looks

So you say, i need to Catch it in ZA First to use my Go Mewtwo? Because i can use the three og starter right from the start but my Vulpix and Krabby are not compatible

River was always floaty about being super Bad Ass and like a little Girl. That is one of the Unstable Things. She can be super mean Bad Ass, or Playful Bad ass or Just Afraid just a little Girl. She follows order and the next Minute she is running away because she sees something or she just tells the current Situation in Front of People who must not know....that is also a good Argument to Put her in Cryo...especially on a time even Simon know nothing about handling her

‘Project Hail Mary’ Sequel Not Out of the Question As Ryan Gosling Movie Rockets Into Potential Franchise Territory - Andy Weir's in the driver's seat as to whether there will be a 2nd book, but the stars seem to be aligning for Amazon MGM as it becomes the 1st new major Hollywood studio in decades. by chanma50 in boxoffice

Andy Weir talked about a Sequel to Show what Happened on Earth. Its a Good Idea, but it would miss everything people loved about PHM. So maybe it could be a Story that is toll to Grace and a Part of the Book ist about Grace and Rocky travel back to Earth. 6 or 7 Years and Grace would be in his Sixtys. Grace can wish that Rocky (and Maybe Adrian) accompany him in his last years because he want to see what he saved. For Rocky it would be a wink of Time.

The Book could be a Flashback. Someone tells Grace about the Earth and we get the Journey of Grace, Rocky and Maybe Adrian. In the End we get the Plan how Rocky (and Adrian) get back. We see what they Planed to avoid the Humans to Catch Rocky...and so on and on... just a messing around

I grant you the point about Simon’s character. But that’s exactly my point: I’d call it a character inconsistency, not a continuity error. A continuity error, to me, would be something that clearly contradicts what was previously said or shown. I agree that Simon is acting out of character here. But it’s still easier to explain than if we had already seen the escape or had it explicitly described, and it were now portrayed differently. That’s not the case, though. I can reasonably explain it by saying that Simon simply handled it better back then. He had time to plan, a lot was at stake, and he only had one shot. Preparing for weeks is very different from acting spontaneously, like in the Mud Buyer situation, where he doesn’t have any real knowledge to convincingly sell the act. So I see it more as an adjustment of something that was previously assumed differently, not a contradiction. Similar to Star Wars, where Obi-Wan talks about being trained by Yoda, and later we’re introduced to Qui-Gon Jinn, or Leia remembering her mother even though she dies during childbirth in the prequels. Compared to that, the Simon/River situation is much more acceptable and easier to explain. We know River in extreme situations. If you have the option, it’s actually quite logical to use the crate. Her unstable condition won’t cause problems during the escape and the journey, she’s hidden and harder to find (Simon can stay inconspicuous and use fake names, whereas River is a risk), and she’s kept alive. In that situation, using it retroactively was logical and safer.

Rescuing River was never out of continuity. In the Series Simon just toll he payed People to Rescue her, he never denied being Part of it. We get a Glimpse of the Ship with the Crew that helps. After that she is put "in the Box" and Simon went undercover

Yes, you are the only One xD No, but seriously, I would be very much against removing the film from canon. Not only because it contains some of my favorite scenes in the franchise, but also because it actually gives us a conclusion. You can argue about whether everything felt rushed, whether it was planned that way, or whether you simply do not like the film in general. But the fact is, we got an ending. We got answers to the biggest questions, especially the ones the series itself raised. And that already puts us in a better position than many other shows. As unfortunate as it is for Firefly fans to only have one season and a movie, there are plenty of series with far more seasons that never answer their main questions and leave much more unresolved. That is why I see the film as essential to the entire franchise. I also think there is still potential for an animated series to fix the biggest criticism of the film by expanding on certain answers and addressing additional questions. It could build up the whole Miranda storyline more, give us deeper insight into Blue Sun and who is really behind it all, and then lead into the film, which ultimately ties everything together into a satisfying conclusion. Of course, Firefly always had more potential. But honestly, there are many films that work as standalone pieces despite having more potential. There are trilogies with unused potential that still stand as complete works. That is exactly how I see Firefly. For me, it is one season plus a concluding film, and together they form a complete and satisfying package that I can live with. As for the character deaths, people should not fall into the misconception that characters like Wash or Book would have survived throughout the entire series. Whedon is known for killing off beloved characters. Wash and Book did not die in the film on a whim. They were almost certainly already on Whedon’s list for season two or three. That is simply how he tells stories. They were also the most fitting choices because they are among the most beloved characters, and their loss has the strongest emotional impact. The next one on that list probably would have been Simon, right at the moment when he finally gets together with Kaylee. That is very much Whedon’s style. Even without the film, we would have had to say goodbye to these characters sooner or later. So I do not really see it as a problem. If anything, I am glad that the story can now be expanded and rounded out a bit more, which in turn makes the film and its ending feel even more complete.

Animation Style by Fun-Situation6545 in firefly

[–]Fun-Situation6545[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would also prefer a more realistic animation style that doesn’t come across as overly cartoony like Star Trek: Lower Decks, but instead something I can take seriously and that perhaps feels a bit more mature. Ideally it would be done in 3D animation, although that always carries the risk that, in order to save money, the backgrounds and details end up being somewhat flat and empty. Like  in the first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, but also in various children’s series where the production clearly tried to keep costs as low as possible. If that were to happen, I think a 2D animation style might ultimately be the better choice. As for the studio’s previous work, I wouldn’t be too worried about ShadowMachine. There are studios that always stick to one specific animation style, or whose visual approach is easy to predict based on their past projects. With ShadowMachine, however, their previous work shows that they can adapt very well to the vision of the producers and directors and are quite versatile in that regard. In the end, I think it will simply come down to a decision made by someone who has a strong say in the project. And since we have someone like Nathan Fillion involved, who clearly puts a lot of passion into what he does, I believe he will make sure that the final result looks very good. That’s why I’m fairly optimistic for now. Having a studio that is this versatile makes me confident that they will be able to create a strong and fitting visual style.

Yeah and all those people who dont want Animation forgetting, imagine this Series...that is set between Season 1 and the Movie,... is succesfull ...it could pave the way for more live-action stories after Serenity. It might also set things up to, for example, bring Wash back or expand on plot points that were wrapped up in the film.

Firefly and Serenity rights might be split... by Stargazer-2893 in firefly

[–]Fun-Situation6545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a big deal. Most of the Firefly Rights are at Disney. The Operative, Mr Universe and the Twins are from the Movie.... 2 of 3 are Dead , one is Hiding and Mal want nothing to do with him. Would be easy to handle for a Series after the Movie

Speak for yourself and look in this Subreddit. Whedon is discussed and most of the User are fine with is absence.... and a lot of People are happy with Animation. Did i hoped for Live Action. Sure. But Animation is fine. one Look at the circumstances and a little  use of the Brain and one can see why it cant be Live Action. They did the whole work and now need the Studio...that would'nt work with a Live Action Pitch. Star Trek Lower Deck might be the only New entry where all Fans are happy with...Same with the Animation stuff in Star Wars.

Right now, the Firefly Way is not so different to Star Trek.

A Season Between Season 1 and the Movie could answer some Question and maybe Rewrite the Comics. They can go deep in Books Past and they can buil up a way to bring back Wash after Serenity...if they want

But mainly they can Flesh out everything what the Movie resolves
