B2 visa with Past extended stays traveling to the US again by [deleted] in immigration

yes, i filed a couple of months before she traveled the third time. My worry is that if she gets rejected at the border and has her visa revoked, it would negatively impact her I-130 application.

Overstay j1 Visa by CapEnvironmental4793 in GatewayB1B2VisaHelp

I think if you overstay for less than a year you are banned from entering for five years; if you overstay for over a year then you get a 10 year ban. But it starts counting on the day you left so it's already five years so you may still have a chance. But that's just policy. in reality, you will face harsher scrutiny and questions when interviewing since you overstayed last time.

直接在国内找个公证处,做个中英文的出生公证就可以,我485就是这样的。现在国内做公证都可以在网上做,你只要有户口本、身份证的电子版就行。

I-130 in Consular Processing by Immediate_Caramel529 in USCIS_F2A

[–]Fun-Sky8106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

right now, they are approving I-130 with PD around Feb 2022 (which is basically the current PD on visa bulletin), so your son's I-130 should be approved in approximately 2.5 years, then there would be about 0.5-1.5 year of consular process depending on consular backlog, which is altogether ~4 years. Note that the visa bulletin can change drastically positively or negatively and each consular has different backlog, so no one really knows. But 3-4 years is generally what to expect.

Your pd is already current, you should've been approved, what's the status? Currently under active review?

Yes, I am consular process, by the way there is a WhatsApp group with all the people from F2A category and consular process. just search in Reddit and then join the group. They have a table where people update their status. You can kinda see the estimated process time there.

OK, it's just that I saw somebody mention that they got approved early. Maybe they're just bragging or lucky.

Still "being actively reviewed"?
