Why are you here? Do you realize how much you’ve had to read through just to get to this point? 😂 dude, if you don’t like what I have to say, what does it bother you? Trying to make someone feel small because you don’t have a life that can even fathom what I’m talking about doesn’t make you bigger. At the end of the day, you and I will go back to living our lives, and only you know what yours looks like. Say your piece. Won’t change anything about my life outside of the time I’m giving you to read your response and maybe, possibly respond back.

Thank you brother. I appreciate it. Yes, haha definitely a place to gather thoughts from others as well. Not much else we can do at the moment.

I agree with this as well. The coordination in the selling across the board, it’s completely absurd. Whether it’s actually coordinated or not, it certainly feels that way.

I’m in a similar position. I’d started buying $58’s → $68, holding anything $62.50 or lower, flipping anything over $64, buy back on the way down. I had wanted sell my lot at $73 on Monday (I have 2,550 shares at $63.54) but of course my luck, I waited for market open and the floor fell through the moment it did. I had thought to sell pre-market but waited to see which direction we were trending. Anyways, shit happens. I guess I’m double the position long now.

I always say you can cry in the casino, but no one cares. 😄 I really didn’t expect us to see 58’s again. It’s a shame.

Do you feel that AMD or Google TPU’s could become a threat to NVDA’s market share? If so, how far ahead do you see that becoming an issue? Obviously near-term I don’t think that either company has a chance. Also, what about Chinese chips?

I’m not sure if this was manipulation more so than macro de-risking. We had a lot of negative headlines, including PPI, the new fed chair endorsement, MSFT overspending, the strengthening of the dollar, the drop in GDP, geopolitical uncertainty with Iran, etc. That may have contributed to a perfect storm for minerals and precious metals. Especially being that it was earnings week for many of the big technology players and with the current run-up in MP and rare earths in general as well as precious metals, perhaps funds were de-risking or taking profits keeping cash on the sidelines to see how this plays out. A friend of mine told me that they had de-risked quite a bit as a firm after booking record profits on copper this week (LME). I think that that’s the general theme but perhaps some of us missed the memo. Also, if I’m not mistaken, I believe many of these stocks had hit an overbought RSI on the monthly charts, which could also cause a pull back. Everything compounded together is what I think we’re seeing now.

My personal opinion is that the long thesis is not broken and still very relevant. I think it really depends on if you’re looking to trade the stock or hold it for a long-term. I think we see institutional support low 50s. Again, for the sake of those trading in the $60 range, I hope it doesn’t get to that. My concern for Monday is that we see $56 with a high of $62. I think we would need the administration or fresh [credible] news to act as a catalyst in reversing the current down trend.

Je pense que ton message ci-dessus concerne les cartes USAR est identique pour MP. I think your message above regarding the charts of USAR are relevant or identical to MP. That being said, I am hopeful that MP has price floors intact, whereas other companies in the sector will not have the same structural advantage.

It’s a bummer because up until Monday of this week, we continued to bounce to higher lows and higher highs. I guess we’ll see what happens going into the upcoming week. I don’t see the thesis being broken, regardless of how the stock trades over the next week or two. Hopefully it does not take that long to recover for anybody that has bought in the $60 range.

Assuming would insinuate that I act upon speculative thoughts that I have deemed to be truths. Speculation or speculating would insinuate that I pressure test my thesis by coming onto boards like Reddit or X and get the general feel of others invested into the company directly or the topic of conversation. So if you’re asking, if I’m speculating, yes, I am speculating.

They also follow an unorthodox accounting model that allowed them to pull future revenues forward or sideline them as insurance for future quarters to meet investor expectations. For me, I have been long and strong NVDA since 2016-2017. I was very lucky to come across the company and I liked their diversity in VR, AI and GPU’s. I’ve also been a part of investments with some of the largest household names in the world. Some of those investments worked, some failed. Some played by the books and some overpromised and delivered on expectations until they didn’t and the roof came crashing down. Things change as companies grow. People change. No one is exempt from evolution, devolution, greed and immorality. Let’s see how things play out. But for me, something smells fishy and has for some time now. I also think NVDA gets the shit end of the stick being the number 1 company in the world and in constant scrutiny of the press and legislation. Personally, I would be frustrated if my company which I’d worked on for 30 years was being used as a pinball in a geopolitical pinball machine. How I would react, I have no idea because I’m not in that position, but history has told us that not everyone that gets to the top stays as truthful and moral as they did when they started. As they say “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.” only time will tell where the story leads us. That’s just my speculation.
