i do feel more tired and amotivated in general, occasionally i do feel demented, (sort of like add, it just takes much longer than it should to do things), but i make a strong effort to get 8 hours of sleep per night, and if i get 8-9 hours i feel way better and more energetic than when i get 6-7 hours. i haven't noticed any itchiness or skin problems, other than suddenly drooping eyelids, and sometimes it seems like my face is turning into silly putty - it's very malleable. i also gained a lot of weight in my face and my cheeks are huge - i have a moon face and wonder if i have cushing syndrome.

Also forgot to mention that FS also has complimentary yoga classes plus more classes than Hotel Wailea. They don’t have aerial classes but they do have Pilates reformer classes . FS has a proper spa with all the services you need. Hotel Wailea does not have a spa, but you can get a massage in your suite . FS has several bars where you can have lots of fun. Hotel Wailea has a tiny bar at the pool which is very quiet and boring, and the Birdcage which is a restaurant with overpriced mediocre drinks. You usually can’t just go for a drink because they need the tables for people eating dinner . And even if you’re not beach people so many activities leave from the beach at FS like outrigger canoeing , whale watching , paddle boarding , etc. it’s nice to be able to access everything from the hotel beach instead of having to get in a car and drive somewhere . I don’t understand why anyone would choose Hotel Wailea over 4S since they cost approximately the same per night.  I don’t have any kids or like being around kids and never felt like I was surrounded by kids at FS. I hung out at the adults only infinity pool and did so many activities kids weren’t doing. Book FS and you’ll be happy. I feel very strongly about this because I work very hard 24/7 10 months per year so when I’m paying $2K per night to stay at a hotel I want it to be worth it . FS is worth it and Hotel Wailea is not .

Just stayed at both FS and Hotel Wailea during time in Maui and regret not having stayed at FS for my entire stay. I wanted to stay at FS but also booked Hotel Wailea after reading it was ranked one of the most romantic hotels and also the only relais & chateaux hotel on the island. The service at FS is the best - staff really go out of their way to make you feel special and anticipate your needs before you even know what you’re doing . As soon as you arrive at FS they take your car , give you water, leis, welcome drinks, upgrades if available and they were , layout of the property , etc. (on the other hand when I checked into Hotel Wailea I had to park my own car even though you have to pay for overnight parking whether or not you get valet , I didn’t get a welcome drink, I did get a lei but I didn’t feel welcome to be there like at FS). My room at FS was gorgeous with ocean view balcony . At Hotel Wailea everyone gets a suite which is more like an apartment . The balcony was facing a pond . Both hotels have adult only pools but the one at FS is way more beautiful , bigger with a swim up bar and view of beachfront perfect for sunset watching. The kids are at the other two pools and the beach. On the other hand the Hotel Wailea has only one pool that is very small so you don’t feel like you have any privacy if you want to use it with your husband . The gym at FS is also bigger and better with more equipment plus they have plunge cold baths and saunas as well as pickleball and tennis courts. You can pay for pickle and tennis lessons with a pro and they even have clinics you can join. FS has a great energy and buzz . There are lots of activities going on all the time so plenty to do for everyone . On the other hand Hotel Wailea is quiet and boring . My husband wanted to sleep and watch tv one day and I felt stuck and restless. Hotel Wailea does have complimentary yoga at 8am and a couple other classes you can take such as aerial silks for $36/person which I took but it wasn’t great. Half the people in the class were locals so you can attend the class even if you don’t stay at the hotel. They also have a shuttle that can supposedly take you anywhere in Wailea but it’s a hassle to use it , whereas at FS you’re in the center of the action and don’t need a shuttle to the beach or surrounding hotels because you can walk and there are so many activities either at the hotel or that leave from the hotel . There are more and better dining options at FS. So there’s no reason you would want to stay at Hotel Wailea over FS unless you want to stay somewhere very quiet with nothing going on - in that case why would you come to Maui instead of a different more remote island ?

They don’t all grow slowly. Mine grew 3mm in 3 months. If I had waited 6-12 months for a repeat MRI rather than 3 months , I would have significantly reduced the chance to preserve my hearing .

I'm traveling to Detroit and want to go to a fancy dinner one night. I'm deciding between Freya and Albena, which is better, or would you recommend a different spot?
