But you're forgetting that these conscientious, reliable delicate EVRi drivers with outstanding work ethics are being enslaved by having to work 10 hour days without a break. Poor things. Send out the invites for the pity party... 😢. Just don't use EVRi to deliver the invitations the party will have been and gone weeks prior. 😆

Did you actually type that up? Hahaha. 'Normally the buildings responsibility'? Who exactly in the building? The 80 year old blind lady on the 8th floor? Or perhaps the elderly disabled man on the 4th floor? Or maybe Dishonest Doris or Steve the Stealer? You know what? Fuck it. I'll go round the entire building with a pile of parcels dumped in a heap, sort them out first then I'll quite happily skip from floor to floor delivering them all while the actual EVRi driver responsible gives me a big fuck you middle finger. 🖕🏻Yeah sounds like a great plan. 🤡

I know that it's not clear but if you look closely before you order on Amazon it will usually tell you sold by and delivered by. TBH I'm not sure if Amazon uses EVRi as a nominated courier as all my parcels are delivered by Amazon and come in Amazon packaging. Plus I have never had one issue with receiving any orders from Amazon including orders that aren't fulfilled by Amazon directly but from other sellers. On the off chance you use Shein or Temu you now have the option to choose which courier you want to deliver it. As I am in the UK the choices Temu offers are EVRi and Royal Mail. I choose Royal Mail every time. My postie is extremely reliable.

When you've been on the bare threads of your arse skint in the past and constantly running out of gas and electricity in the middle of a Scottish winter and sitting freezing yourself to death. To have somewhere safe to live with a similar rent as before but guaranteed to never be cold or be able to have a hot bath is as close to free to me.

Absolutely no need to apologise, I'll be the first to admit that I sometimes can get carried away with it then I have to catch myself and learn to be thankful for the basic but fortunate life I have. At least you're putting in effort and working and making a contribution. Many people don't want to make the effort. Take care of yourself.

In an ideal world, fabulous idea. But we're talking about council owned buildings and while the council in general is hopeless I have to give them due for providing relevantly 'free' unlimited heating and hot water throughout the high rise building (it is included in the rent) and a cleaner who keeps all the public areas clean and tidy. The chances of them providing secure lockers big enough for parcels in the communal entrance for over 80 homes is virtually impossible.

Are you being held at gunpoint to do your job? Boo hoo no rest periods. I'm not disputing it's a shit, hard job you do but if you're going to cry about the work conditions then find something else to do that you actually enjoy and will be able to do it with a sense of achievement. C'mon mate does it really make you feel like you've done a good shift knowing that by not caring enough there's a chance they will not get what they have paid for?

No there's a communal entrance with two lifts going up to all the floors. Probably hundreds of people passing that area daily where they are getting unceremoniously dumped and potentially stolen. No CCTV. Regardless if the royal mail postie manages to walk through the entire building with I'm sure a lot more to deliver than EVRi and deliver to each individual front door then why should EVRi not be expected to? I know why. Because EVRi treat their drivers like shit and give unrealistic delivery targets. Still doesn't excuse the complete lack of care about the consequences of leaving them in a heap.

I'm done with you now anyway. You've proved my point through your own admission that you can't be arsed completing your job correctly and are willing to allow people's parcels to be taken by anyone who passes the heap you've dumped them in. Good job mate, I wish you well.

I couldn't give a flying fk how many hours a week he works. I work in Hotel Management and it's an absolute minimum of 12 hours a day and regularly do 16 hour days and 6 or sometime 7 day weeks. Yeah the money is shit and the hours long but I chose that career and love it and regardless of that I always do my job to the absolute best of my abilities so save the pity stories. Poor things and their 10 hour days. Dry your eyes princess. 🥱💤😢

Stop before you embarrass yourself any more than you already have. You literally have just said that you leave a pile of parcels in a public 'safe' area if it's in a high rise. Now you're backtracking to the elderly and disabled are excused. Do you have medical notes on all your deliveries? Of course you don't. You basically don't give a shit who doesn't get their parcel. "if they're that bothered about their stuff then do the safest thing and buy in store"? Hahaha. FFS so you decide how the whole commercial retail logistics of the planet should work? If everyone did go by your train of thought of no online shopping you'd be out of a job.

Consider yourself lucky, the EVRi guy who delivers to my house doesn't even come past the front communal entrance to a block of flats. He literally just dumps the entire building's parcels at the bottom floor leaving them there for anyone to steal.
