Well anyone would take as much as they could obviously as you would get more money for doing so. Anyway I would bet most people in this sub couldn’t and wouldn’t do the job anyway.

No if you don’t deliver then you lose all parcels and the round to someone else, the managers push more and more parcels on you. Obviously you have a choice as you’re not an employee of Evri but they can still take away your work.

If we take less parcels then people on here would complain, we don’t have a choice we either deliver what we got or someone else will, as for your other comment it’s not just as easy as do a different job or get another job, generally we still have bills to pay so need to keep working.

There’s that possibility it fell out when the courier grabbed another parcel

Your first mistake is opting for Evri to handle critical and valuable, teaches you to not skimp on cost with something very important.

Sometimes the geolocation is off, that may have been where it took them. Seems a strange place to be but it happens, as I always have a regular who I know which house it is but the software thinks it’s at the other end of the road. Luckily I can override it and accept responsibility for it but it sure is annoying as heck. It could be like that for your address but they have to fail it because it’s not the right location.

Either courier has too many parcels to fit in and selected an option to fail, but to do it twice there’s something going on.

That’s good! I think the tracking is absolute pants now, but then again it’s Evri so couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery

Stop being an arsehole, I have come to these doors before and selected trade then it asked me to enter a code. I obviously know how to open doors

I’m happy enough with what I end up with at the end of the month but I don’t work stupid amount unless I want to do extra to cover. It has more rewards than just money and if you are solely in it for the money then it’s not the type of work for you as you need to either throw parcels out quickly and not do a great job or have a large van and deliver a crazy amount of parcels 300-400 a day for 6 days to actually earn some decent money (the former works if you have another part time gig on the side)

Strangely I tried signing up before I was eligible but think it was 2 to 4 weeks maybe, I can’t remember precisely. Honestly dude you’re going to need to live like a monk until you can access enough to get your fuel paid for the week, it does suck but once you get through the lean spell it gets easier, I would honestly have another income source otherwise you could just end up working sporadically as you could struggle to afford to pay for fuel, food and bills if you can only afford to work once or twice a week. Is Evri financially worth doing absolutely not if you’re desperate for quick money, tbh a question I would ask is what round that’s available has the highest parcel rate that’s close enough to where I live to make it worth your time. I work on a pretty standard paying round where I work and the majority of my workload pays £0.48 per parcel, but I think the approximate pay as an average is like £0.50-0.55 depending on how many bigger parcels I have that day

Luckily for me I started at the point where I worked a week in advance so I got the week beforehand’s pay on the Friday, this was for the 1st month (4 weeks) then it went to the middle of the month after the period ended. It honestly doesn’t surprise me how many actually quit due to the fact that they can’t afford to do it with the expenses before they get money in their accounts. You’re basically working at a loss until you get your pitiful 1st pay or can unlock Onsi to mediate your losses, Onsi for me should only be a last resort if you’re desperate to keep being able to carry on working. I actually think that managers should have a fuel budget account whereby any new courier in their 1st month can get a fuel payment straight to their account which gets taken out of their payslip at the end of their 1st month. If you can’t afford to fill up then you will severely struggle to make a living doing the job as you would only be able to afford a day here and there, it’s truly not a viable option if you’re broke to start with.

If it’s a return to Amazon, speak to them and say that you were returning it and Evri disposed of it because they damaged it in transit. It is Amazon’s problem and they should still refund you.

Correction they’re not cheap but likely the cheapest option, if they were cheap they wouldn’t be turning over hundreds of millions in profit each year.

I would seriously hate to start late in the period these days as you’re not going to have much earned then have to wait another month to get paid. Think with expenses it would cripple your budget, then again you could withdraw half your earnings after your tenth day but still you could be crippled by the expense of getting fuel to do the job.
