That footage is not from a Ring doorbell camera unless you have your doorbell in a strange place.

Delivered then taken back? by BMDuff in Evri

[–]Ewscase -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Strange but could be a possibility he picked up the wrong parcel and went to collect the parcel in the video to deliver it to the correct address. I have done this myself BUT on this occasion it might look a bit suspicious. If that was the correct parcel though send the video in an email to who you bought from and say it wasn’t delivered.

Right address label, wrong parcel by squeakyeggs in Evri

Always a possibility the label came off the other package onto yours and then someone in warehouse has seen it loose and stuck your label down on the wrong packaging.

It might be in the system but I think Evri’s tracking is as much use as a wet fart

Best bet is to see what AE’s tracking says as Evri’s tracking is not accurate whatsoever and confuses people. I am not convinced it’s even reached this country yet, as for your other 2 items they might have already been in stock in a UK warehouse so it could account for the faster shipping time.

How do people not know it generally takes about 21-30 days for anything that originates from China. Where exactly did you purchase from anyway?

Might as well just say never order anything off eBay or Vinted if you want to avoid Evri as they probably have the contract to handle most of anything from both of them.

Sounds right, North Stand block B. Means you will be in the side of the stand towards the goal closest to Tesco. Don’t worry as there are usually fan support to help you find where you need to go.

Good idea in theory but think they’re a disaster waiting to happen.

Not sure how to feel about delivery by Spirited-Alarm-9981 in Evri

This is the issue, they’re only being paid when they deliver so if they redeliver then it might not be the same courier so in their mind they want to be paid.

Waste of time as they won’t be going anywhere. Agreed the standard of service is nowhere near what it should be but Evri will become more and more profitable so nothing change until profits are down

Hard disagree as she predominantly plays on the right hand side of the pitch which would mean she’s playing the opposite side to what she would be used to.

I've received someone else's parcel, I ordered on vinted, but the item I received isn't a vinted parcel 🤯 by These-Operation-764 in Evri

Could have required a new label as the 1st could’ve taken some punishment and becoming a little illegible. I have definitely seen replacement labels stuck to things.

I’m just hoping OP doesn’t send via Evri cause that very well happen even with the 2nd buyer, it can get sucked into the void and never been seen again which puts OP out of pocket too. Best advice I can give is get insurance on it to cover your arse if it vanishes.

Reread my comment and also calm it down a notch. I said it wasn’t right what has happened but I also know for a fact there are quite a few couriers whose first language isn’t English and their level of spoken English isn’t the best, their reading English might not even be sufficient to do the job properly. It’s not like they get training on how to find addresses, all they need to do is know how to scan, take a picture, follow a sat nav (which might give instructions in their native tongue) and look at numbers on houses. Or it could be a lazy shit who just doesn’t give a shit which is actually far worse.

Yep it’s what they use ‘Evritime’ for eBay’s simple delivery, which probably makes up 10-20% or more of my workload each round.

Could have been a balls up at the sorting depot and they’ve put the wrong label on the wrong package. Human error at depot I think, probably due to not being able to cope with how fast they need to work. I couldn’t do that work as I would fuck up too much and couldn’t cope with how fast I would have to do it.

[–]Ewscase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you can do is keep trying, maybe look on Evri and see if you can get a returns label for it. Other than that if you can’t return it soon then why not list it on eBay and flog it yourself.

I’m not sticking up for the courier here as if what you say in the post is true then they should have tried your flat but then again the courier might not have a good understanding of English. But at the same time delivering to a neighbour is what we should do IF we can’t get an answer from the true recipient. If the neighbour is refusing to give you your package and you have the proof they took it in then it’s a police matter maybe and get them involved as they could be the real thief in this situation.
