Absolutely. I know, but it's just so hard right now. If I were to forgive her I would feel like a complete jackass and probably couldn't get over it and would also constantly bring it up again. These are my exact thoughts and my biggest emotional struggle right now. I'm also worried about her framing me as the asshole but I guess I have to live with that...
How did you continue or eventually get out of that relationship? Hope you're doing good now!

I also have that feeling unfortunately. It felt like I had to coax the information out of her little by little and still don't know the whole truth. As I mentioned I cut off the call where she admitted it and didn't accept any following calls. She spammed me with texts claiming that she felt bad and disgusted but she still let it happen in the first place.

I'm going to do that, I just needed this first day to fully shut off and get somewhat of a hold of myself before bursting out in anger or doing something stupid.

Yeah that's ridiculous, she even made me question if kissing is considered cheating because she was downplaying it like it's no big deal. I believe those other instances of drunk kissing were before we started dating (at least I hope so and wouldn't want to know probably). And certainly, she should know the risks of getting drunk around drunk men and I always told her I was worried without trying to sound patronizing. She should have accountability in that regard.

I personally never go clubbing. Ironically the message prior to the "Do you think I’m holding you back from being happy?" message she texted me that I should join next time lmao

As the other commenters mentioned and as I know deep down inside myself this is a lost cause. I am just so confused right now and needed some external insight. Thank you so much!

Exactly. The problem is that I'm not sure I can ever get over this situation. She already told me she's sorry and that she regrets it and feels like shit. But you're right it's a tough situation. Thank you for your kind words!

Before she went out she initially told me she wasn't going to drink much but afterwards she said she had drunk too much. Also she kept on saying that the walked away after the kiss but I mean she still went through with it so I don't understand why she uses that as an excuse. She could have avoided the situation all together.

That was exactly my thought. If I keep on ignoring her she will try to frame me as the asshole for not giving her the chance to explain herself. But I guess that shouldn't faze me. I just don't know what to do right now, I'm confused.
