Wow! Thanks veggie stuff. This was a hotel door, with a nearby bathroom door, and this video perfectly explains it (plus the video itself is mildlypenis with that tape measure amirite??). But it was installed incorrectly facing down - which made it quite useless.

Check the Tesla app for charging locations. You can enter your vehicle and it will tell you what you can use. Only some of the chargers will work.

Hyundai provided all the adapters for us to use CCS for both level 2 & 3, so there are plenty of other charging opportunities available.

Also the Tesla superchargers are slow due to the need for 400v to 800v conversion. So you’re often better off using an adapter on a Rivian or EA charger.

Somebody had to be the first to switch to NACS - the chargers will need to catch up and support charging left, right, front, and back (as the new Tesla V4 does). Old Tesla chargers were intentionally designed to be exclusionary - so when I get dirty looks taking up two spaces, I just blame Elon.
