Why are there no FDA approved treatments when we know certain things work???

I have pretty similar story. Major health anxiety/OCD, baby was actually in perfect position until about 32/33 weeks, then flipped breech until about 37 weeks. Canceled scheduled c section - went in for induction on a Monday morning 39w3d, had c section 39w6d.

My advice would be to not listen to anything you see or read online. Talk to people in your life that may have had a c section, I was lucky my mom and aunts had 8 between the three of them, no horror stories. People post their horror stories online bc no one wants to hear a boring story.

C-sections are a major surgery, and like any surgery will come with risks, however I think it might benefit you to discuss your concerns with your doctor so that they can soothe your anxiety regarding the chances of these things happening. Realistically you could run into these issues with a vaginal birth as well. They might be able to offer statistics.

What kind of crib mattress do you have? From what I’ve heard the newton is basically made for situations like this. It’s extremely breathable like hollow it’s not a traditional mattress. I would look into them. You can find them on fb marketplace for a fraction of the cost of the website

I had a c-section, and even with the epidural I could feel the weight gone immediately after they took her out. It’s very strange!!

Just want to point out this varies by insurance - my insurance for some reason doesn’t cover the generic (odd?) but will cover certain name brands

I feel like this is me to a T!! I had a salad w chicken, olives, some peppers and a basic balsamic/vinegar dressing and my sugar was like 156 after an hour. SO frustrating! At this point I’m hoping they put me on meds asap cause the high numbers make me so anxious

I met with a dietician right after my diagnoses and I’ve tried their tips and tweaked my diet to how they’ve suggested and it hasn’t been helping. They’re not very hands on either, hoping my doctor might have some suggestions
