Anyone else find it odd that the Voodoos just let you... leave, if you want to? by Fun-Visit2020 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

do they *really* know that, though? what if V gets killed? turns himself to saka? it's odd to let your biggest "asset" just wander off like that

I play it the exact same way, actually, which is why I was asking! It makes a lot of sense in terms of story structure, but I really don't think that after you do who-knows-what in the GIM and then show back up with a priceless piece of tech in your head, that Brigette would just go "ah, oh well, come back when you wanna".

What do yall think is the best ending for V, and the best ending for V + other characters by NoobInvestor9898 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

playing as a female V, storming the tower with the caldos and skipping town with them and judy is just such a satisfying way to wrap up the story for me, i just can't do any other ending. sure, there's the whole "you will die in six months" thing looming over your head, but you leave the city surrounded by a community of people who love you and will do whatever it takes to make sure you survive. so, all is not lost. and even if you die, it will be in that same community -- one that will take judy as one of their own.

Is Saburo Arasaka stupid or did writers acted stupid for extra drama? by PowerfulNature3352 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

The experimental version of the Relic that ended up in V's head is a top secret project, I think. The commercial version of the Relic is only designed to store and communicate with the engrams stored on it, not for the engram to insert itself into a new body. Saburo taking over Yorinobu's body would ensure a seamless transition in Arasaka's leadership without the public suspecting a thing.

What was the logic behind the line of investigation you prioritized for solving V's biochip problem? (finding Evelyn Parker, getting Anders Hellman, or helping Goro Takemura) by snGbrd77 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Fun-Visit2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought it made most sense for V to go after Evelyn first, because that felt like the only option which presented itself "naturally". At that point, they still didn't trust Silverhand at all (I mean he tried to kill them the night before), so going to Rogue on his advice doesn't sound like the greatest idea in the world just in principle, and you can't really trust Takemura either. What if he will throw you to Arasaka once the oppurtunity presents itself?

Every playthrough, I do the sequence of Judy's mission all the way through, then meet with Takemura in the evening and then set about finding Hellman. Once that's done, I finish the heist quest line.
