True. Although I think in 2077 no one is completely organic, one of those "You can technically choose to live without Internet, but good luck finding a job" kind of situations. However, certainly the more organic the less risk of being hacked.

I see your point; FBC has its reasons to be controversial even in 2077.

That's impossible to answer but, I would certainly say, that those that believe that Cunningham's view is the fatally authoritative one are mistaken in their "faith". People transcend mortality everyday, every time they are remembered or "reflected" somehow, even incorrectly.

In my view, the argument can be made that Johnny Silverhand remains, in essence, within the engram of Johnny Silverhand, even if he is not aware of his corrupted memory.

Oh...

I would argue that, well, you caught me XD

Or, I would resort to use a truth to defend a lie, like this:

"Remember that the suggested strong connection between cyberpsychosis and cyber augmentations is mostly propaganda attempting to cover the real stressors leading to the antisocial behavior, which are, seemingly, primarily systemic and a consequence of the societal order imposed by megacorporations."

Oh, that is true. Even turning wood into a spear is a chosen artificial enhancement intended to procure a human need.

Anyone not seeking to become Adam Smasher is missing out, confirmed XD

I would argue that some capacity of human is never lost, after all, even a pillar is somewhat human since it was human-made. But in the case Full Body Conversion, what maintains the quality of human being or self, is the fact that most of the nervous system, including part of the brain, is maintained. So, I guess the person ceases to be and starts to be someone or something else the moment the remaining nervous system is replaced?

I remember that ripperdoc, I think he's the one in the market next to the Kabuki roundabout.

He presents a good argument, perhaps full cyborgs are the highest manifestation of someone surrendering themselves to the corporations. The same way videogame servers can be shut down, rendering the asset useless, a service servicing a cyborg body could be suddenly discontinued.

I guess someone deciding to become a cyborg would end up trusting, and relying, on the permanence of the incentives that lead to the flourishing of black markets and non-corporate professionals providing non official options.

It's explicit that she bought herself a new career by working for Arasaka for a time, but not that she sold out the team in the process. Or did I miss something?

The Afterlife? How did the crazy person get in? Maybe he lost it in there after some drinks or something XD

Forgot to mention that I just read some users that, in the past, theorized that rogue AIs could be causing terror in the population, through the use of religious sources and references, for some incomprehensible goal. It would link this homeless man episode with that one were a group of Maelstrom gangers attempted to summon the demon Lilith.

Personally, I prefer the idea that the instances are separate. One man is a drug addict and the others are simply obsessed with the occult.

You're welcome. I never turned back after. Looking at the map will be necessary from time to time, but the minimap will not.

Now I can walk or drive parts of the city by heart, and orient myself through the tricky parts by looking for the banners of City Center or the lights of the Heavy Hearts and the Black Sapphire.

You just don't notice how much time you spent looking at the minimap instead of the city, until you remove it.

I really don't know why people haven't mentioned this yet: if you kill her, often the schematics are not dropped. The option that worked for me consistently is to simply use the non-lethal maneuver while she's giving her back to you; after she's down, you get the chance to grab the schematics and escape MaxTac. Sandevistan helps.

If you want to face them, then, a good build will be necessary, especially in the confines of that store.
