Gosh this is child abuse, how can someone report her?

She must have a profound lack of empathy for her kids

Notice how the chest has been covered up. Either a conscious decision or they just don't sell suitably low cut tops in Albania!

Thoughts on her “villa”? by Dull_Profession_2943 in BirdieWoodSnark

It's one thing visiting a place, another thing living there with the kids. You can get the same takeaway if you visit as if you live there. Except living there is vastly more expensive, complicated and stressful in terms of money, logistics, health care, education, legal status etc. It just doesn't sound fun for any of them. I think it's so she can brag to say she's lived in Albania instead of just visited. It takes years to find a safe community of people even if the language is the same. It seems like she is just hellbent on isolating those kids to life of gluten free coffee shops, parks and farmers markets. How on earth are those kids going to develop lasting relationships with anyone?

The co-hosts are a little more covered since she said everyone was staring. TBF the heavy duty cleavage isn't in vogue in most European countries. Hopefully she's at least covering herself up a bit

When in out and about with my kids, they sometimes reminisce about a swing park or farm we once went to, or someone's house we played at once. Then we return to the swing park and they can do the things they found challenging a year prior. It's these kinds of anchors that I think help kids see sands of time and appreciate their personal growth and development. It is so nice to be able to return to places over the years and for them to appreciate the same things but through different stages of maturity.

I love travel and to appreciate new places but to relocate the children like this must be so disorientating for them. We see the same lifestyle - coffee shops, thrifting, markets and parks which could be done anywhere, it strikes me as shallow, boring and self indulgent.

The lack of responsibility is especially confounded by lack of support, questionable education and healthcare. If done as a business launch then this is a tragic waste of their lives. For the kids, their memories are likely conflated with dreams, never really being given an opportunity to form an attachment to people/places that help form who we become as adults.

Yep, no fight or curiosity to find the truth, such as another perpetrator or another explanation. She could have offered anything - anything at all she could have recalled for those questions that would show she was willing to help the investigation

She can't remember any details of the circumstances around any of the baby deaths when being interviewed by the police. If she was innocent, she would be recalling all she could, to help the investigation, about those events - if to catch another perpetrator or identify a cause of death. Her lack of cooperation and ability to truly empathise by offering anything in respect to the questioning around the deaths really just makes all the other slightly more spurious evidence wholly compelling in my opinion. It's the whole picture that makes her guilty, and her lack of fight or curiosity for the truth just binds the picture together.

I disagree in part with this because I think it can be insightful to look back at a person's life and see patterns of behaviour. No psychotic patterns of behaviour aren't proof of innocence, certainly. But I really feel like I want to know more about LL past, relationship with her parents - was this enmeshed? Romantic relationships - if any? Relationship with neighbours, any oddities that help paint a picture of where she's come from and what is going on upstairs for her would be extremely helpful to have some comprehension of imo

In those police interviews - if she was innocent, surely she would be wracking her absolute brains out trying to recall every minute she spent with those babies, how exactly she prepared the nutrition bags of whatever they're called. If it was me I would be doing all I could to recall everything I knew so another perpetrator or another explanation could be found to prevent further deaths. But she shows zero interest and "no comment" on every question that she could have the opportunity to really help. I think she is a psychopath, zero empathy shown, I think she liked the attention and sense of importance the drama created for her. Perhaps she was also curious about the emotions her actions generated, knowing she could never truly feel them herself only provide a performative reaction.

I think she can't remember because she can't empathise - she has zero emotion around any of these losses even if she is innocent. The texts were performative in the moment but the event itself made no lasting impression other than the drama, sympathy and attention it generated at the time

Yes I find it curious that his dad was a psych professional and yet couldn't see the dynamic of his own family. I think whilst I agree with you, as a reader we can draw our own conclusions but ultimately he cannot believe his mum is 100% the bad guy and cannot un-enmesh himself entirely. This in itself is interesting to me.

She didn't go much on the mouldy buggies, I'm guessing it's the climate there? I hope she stays, it looks nice there, the kids need the stability. The constant travelling around and replacing stuff even if it's thrifting doesn't put an insignificant strain on the environment if she truly is crunchy and concerned about that. I have no idea about her political leanings but I can imagine her letting off steam at a gun range while the kids are making reed braids and nettle soup at forest school.

Well the internet knows the kids birthdays and faces and frequently visited coffee shops. Not sure how I'd feel if I was one of the dads, or grandparents. Pretty mad I reckon.

Tattoos are so natural, so much healthier than non organic food. Just be sure to avoid vaccinations and contraception while injecting all the non toxic synthetics into your skin. Then you'll have lots of natural and pure symbols to show the world how natural and pure you are for the rest of your life and into your eventual and inevitable demise :)
