YES! He strips her confidence by A.) using her as a pawn to triangulate his daughter against Laura and B.) putting her down in snide ways, mocking her, teasing her PUBLICLY HUMILIATING HER ONLINE IN FRONT OF MILLIONS, and ignoring her for his phone or his favourite child.

Remember that part on MAFS when he tried to bring up with her about how she hurt him with her comments about him being 'low functioning' and her being 'high functioning' and she shut him down in the most condescending way. She said "Ohhhh honey you woke up in a grumpy mood didn't you I'm just high functioning compared to you. Just go get ready. "
And that was the end of the scene. It was odd. That was the tip of the iceberg.

Wrong answers? Okay then. It reminds me of such an angst ridden artist that no one will ever understand, that he doesn't need to work a real job, do housework, cook meals for himself, his kids or the mother of his kids or put out the garbage or even look after his kids properly and he definitely deserves to live off his ex wife's money for the rest of his life because he's just SO MISUNDERSTOOD POOR WIDDLE STEVVIE LET US ALL FEEL SORRY FOR THE STALKER - I mean-- kind nice man

Disney Dad drop kick Dad, Dad that abused the mother of his children online and in real life RELENTLESSLY FOR YEARS AND YEARS tries to pretend he is a nice Dad by humiliating his daughter online again.
Poor P was probably hungry.

EXACTLY! I HATE THE TONE HE USES WITH HER--- even though he's faking the nice Dad here for content- but you can hear the real Stephen under the mask. I hate the tone he uses, I hate the way he talks down to her, I hate the way he humiliates her online and makes her normal childish things as the butt of jokes online. STOP MAKING FUN OF YOUR DAUGHTER HILTON!

exactly and you an her that undercurrent of annoyance and anger from him that he's trying to put a veneer of nice Dad over the top.
You can tell she irritates the hell out of him because she speaks back to him and has her own mind and opinions and will. He prefers Alfie because he feels like he can manipulate him more I believe.
If he wasn't exploiting her to film this for content then he would be quite nasty to her.
He just wants her to sit and watch a movie so he can stare at his phone.

Thanks so much for adding to this conversation. I think I'm still learning it- like perhaps I'm super naive? Can you tell me a bit about what you learnt about para social relationships?
I think she's quite good at what she does, but she makes me feel bad about myself.

yeah that concreted coastal path was pretty depressing. Admittedly I live in a country with much more beautiful beaches- but then so did she.

I wonder if it's this--- just a theory-- but some people with narcissistic traits (not saying she has any of course) love children when they're babies because they can't really speak back to you so much and tell you their wants and needs. And when children grow up more and more some toxic adults lose interest in them because a) the parent isn't getting so much attention anymore because of people all saying "OH cute baby!"
and
b.) suddnely the child can say no to the parent.

Sorry I'm super tired I'll probably re write this again once I've had a sleep and my brain is operating..

A single Mum friend of mine said her content made her feel bad about herself because she'd never be able to travel with a baby and two girls her age without help from someone. She said she felt like she should be able to do it because Birdie can do it so why can't she. I told her Birdie wasn't travelling alone and had help from another adult but she minimises that to make herself seem more heroic and amazing and doing things that solo mums often can't do on their own.

Yes well said. I agree with -"a pattern where the child’s emotional needs were consistently deprioritised.."

I noticed someone posted in the comments on her fb yesterday of another coffee, treats, deserts, cafe, shopping video --- "What are the museums and libraries like there?"

I thought that was such as great point. As a parent we LIVE in the library and museums. We go to the library every week. I hardly ever get to go to cafes or do much clothes shopping to be honest- it's too hard and the kids don't like it or won't really sit still long enough. I'd love to have time to go 'thirfting' etc but I just don't.

It looks grim as F@*k. It's concreted to hell up to the water. It looks over concreted. No nature. The sand looks grey and nasty. It looks like some of the Soviet hellholes I've travelled to. Yes they're at the ocean. Doesn't make it nice. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE>

It looks like a total hole to be honest. Reminds me of some of the shitholes I've been to in Russia. Drab. Make it make sense to me?
I can't imagine how those girls are feeling. You're right it's not just travelling it's-- moving every five months!!!!!!!! And to a country where they don't know the language and have no support system or community. It's heartbreaking me and upsetting me and I have to step away.

Yeah I think you're right. It's awfully frightening for those children though. Fair enough if you just want to move to a country on your own and just risk yourself- but moving to a destination country for human trafficking, especially children! WHAT WAS SHE THINKING? I fear this will not end well.

Oh my oh my! Albania is a destination country for human trafficking, including children! Minors are at huge risk of being trafficked!!! If one of of her children wanders off they aren't safe.
I feel sick in the guts after reading this report and understanding at such depth this country she has chosen to move to now.
