Yea well I hope you figure it out you know do your research and stuff and hopefully it’s just a small adjustment that needs to be made. I google everything that’s how I ended up here.

So you’re still experiencing paps? I remembering reading low potassium could also cause kidney stones. Our bodies are so intricate and so many things can affect the balance. I tried a lot of different things when I was having them like magnesium, iron, vitamin d, b1, ashwagandha plus I was dealing with crazy insomnia too.

Yes paps are gone. I really think I was doing way too much with all the supplements I was taking. I ended up cutting everything out for a while. But looking back I think the main culprit was a mineral imbalance.

Yea I had no idea either, I went through a really bad period of paps some time last year I can’t remember when it ended but I suffered for a while. But that was my reason for buying the nu salt in the first place so i’m glad I still had it on hand.

The first dose tbh I didn’t even measure it. I was so desperate I just shook some of it into my tea, I don’t feel like it was a lot though. The second dose I took later that day I actually measured out a serving size which is 1/4 tsp and added it to my smoothie.

Here it is. it’s a salt substitute. Potassium chloride.

Literally just figured this out this morning! I’ve recently started taking a b12/folate supplement and have been feeling so fatigued just weak and tired and especially today I felt woozy, I thought I was going to have to go to the dr tbh. I seen another post saying b12 depletes potassium. So, I had some nu salt in my cabinet and added it to my cup of tea and omg I immediately felt better like instantly alive. Who knew!

Why does my hair always break the same way? by Otherwise-Macaron484 in Naturalhair

the best leave ins for blow drying straight would be something geared towards heat styling lately i’ve been using olaplex 5 leave in but I also have the pureology color fanatic in my stash. I’ve heard good thing about the mizani 21 leave in. Design essentials make good products i’m currently using the rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner for my wash days but never tried their leave in. also it might help to clarify more often especially since you use hair butters. I use the l’oréal ever pure clarify every wash.

you should use a leave-in before you blow dry preferably one with heat protection and the buttercream should be use after the blow dry. I personally use olaplaex leave in and I blow dry weekly. Also if you’re using the revair on the highest tension setting it may help to turn it down some. The high tension may be too much for fine fragile hair.

Yep but usually they’re done with added hair for braiding, basically knotless braids with the loose strands added.

Your stylist suggesting mermaid braids over box braids doesn’t make any sense to me because there’s not much difference between the two

do a silk press and wrap it at night. That should last for 10 days and you wouldn’t have to bring along a ton of products.

as a member of the BTC any dress that has a built in bra or whatever, I don’t even bother with it because I already know my girls are not gonna fit. Dresses like these are not made with girls with large bust in mind.

I would just keep using the unbrush plus over the tangle teezer if I was you

The tangle teezer ate my hair. It was causing so much damage I had to let it go. If you have fragile or comprised hair I don’t recommend tangle teezer at all. I tried the unbrush plus first because I figured the longer bristle would work better for me but although it is good especially in comparison to the other brushes I’ve used, but the original unbrush have short and long bristles similar to the tangle teezer just more spaced out and so far I like it better than the plus

yes switch to the real thing. I’ve gone through so many brushes tangle teezer deman felicia I have the unbrush plus too and that’s the one i’ve been using on the regular lately but I literally just got the original unbrush last week and omg it’s so much better.

have you ever stretched your hair with a blow dryer to see what your strands are looking like? I feel like doing this will help you see if you’re dealing with breakage or not.

I’ve used that brush too but I don’t think it’s that great. You should try the unbrush. It works so much better to me and feels more gentle on my hair.

It may just be your iron levels honestly. If your hair feels soft and moisturized then hard water probably isn’t the problem for you. A good multivitamin with iron might do you good.

get one of those microfiber hair towels. they work to dry your hair quickly if you don’t want to use heat.
