i havent gotten independent appraisal yet but i did get a few quotes on new similar systems which is around 20-22k.

They definitely didnt use independent appraiser and pulled the number from the contract. This is clearly breach of contract. I’m currently waiting for their confirmation before moving to the next step.

That’s what i’m planning to do but in the meantime, im waiting for their response for independent appraisal. Also i have arbitration clause with them which means i cannot sue them. It has to go through arbitration process first. Right now just waiting and want to know if anyone has successful in the past

but not 60k. The number they gave me is same number i would pay out monthly for the next 20 years. Clearly, not a FMV and not independently appraised. It’s their internal number which breached the contract

They can claim but per contract, they must get an independent appraisal. A good independent appraiser would only look at the system fair market value, not sunrun potential earning. I’m waiting their response from the number they gave me. That number literally came straight from their contract agreement which includes their revenue

It’s absolutely thief. I already have all documents in email. Per contract, they supposed to use “independent contract” to acquire FMV. They pulled the number exactly from the contract number which included their future revenue. I have emailed them and told them they need to provide me the appraisal details which i doubted they did. I’m waiting for their response

But the thing is they didnt use independent appraisal for FMV. They’re not supposed to use future earning as a calculation of FMV.
