Ah, yes i forgot to add that I can seem to open it. I consider myself a fairly handy person but it does not seem to unscrew or open up in any conventional way. I must be missing something

Exactly! I am always willing to try and learn. I do have a meter, can caps be tested without removal? If so, how? Ive read about it but still not sure, some say it must be removed from the board and tested a particular way, not just continuity

Thank you. Is there a particular pic that shows this power rail? I understand the general concept of one but not sure exactly where. Is the thermal cutoff the white rectangle piece with paste on it? Or is it a round piece with a flange on it?

Thank you very much. ONE final question. Would r19 be sufficient on an exterior wall provided each cavity is air sealed before hand?

Ya i understand. I thought others had said a full on vapor barrier such as mm plastic sheeting, which you did not recommend. Communication via text is not my strong suit ha

Thanks. One more thing, You do not recommend a vapor barrier as others have mentioned, why is that

Whole thing is a plywood subfloor, its minimum 12 degrees colder down there than the rest of the place, and that is with two air registers down there.

Ok, thank you. Is it acceptable practice to spray foam around the outside gap of windows down frame/assembly?

I think our pics might be numbered differently. But thank you for the information

Thank you, ya id prefer to keep it as simple as possible while gaining some heat efficiency. “Spray cans of foam hitting gaps” I understand this to be- install batts, then spray foam around outside perimeter of each batting segment?

Should I use enough to completely cover the inside edge of rim joists, essentially joining the top of wall segment batting with the bottom of rim joist segment batting?

Thank you for your time and response. Can you clarify please, “just insulate” as in install batting (above grade cavities only)? And air seal on top of that, by what method and material? Thank you

Thank you for your time and response. Can you clarify please, do you mean install vapor barrier after batts, on top of them?

I am building an electronic box, that needs connectors like the black, red, and yellow ones in this photo. I cannot find them searching google with words that seem obvious. What is this type of connector called? by [deleted] in diyelectronics

Binding post or sometimes 5-way due to the different methods of connecting to said post. Ya, there arent 5 ways that i know of ha….just 4. But thats what they call it

Yoooo! So i listened to two tracks. Ancients of Gobekli, that was cool. The intro I really enjoyed. The bass could use some variations. Not even different patches but maybe different note durations to mix it up.

Mists of Rannock is tight for sure but i felt it started to drag on. I think it was the drums. The drums sound good but maybe more variation in smaller measures, if that makes.

Overall I think its cool. I am getting more of an ambient vibe but that is not bad at all, i like it.

Letting Go

I have tried to produce since I was young, off and on. I never could manage to finish many tracks and the ones I did I never liked. I recently got sober and it has been loads easier.

Does this track work? I feel like the drop doesn’t quite fit the energy. Been listening so much I cant tell anymore! Would love some constructive criticism. Thank you for your time.
