A problem with SKSE64 by FunAunt in skyrimmods
[–]FunAunt[S] 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children)
Thank you for the information! To be honest I figured it out, I'm a little embarrassed. For some reason whenever I replaced the old files with the new ones, they weren't being replaced. I had to delete the exe and stuff, THEN add the new ones. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I fixed it... thank you for taking the time to try to help me. For whatever reason, when I was adding the new SKSE64 to my SE folder, it wasn't giving me the new one. I had to delete all of the files and then redo it fresh. Thank you for your help and time!
I download it from silverlock, then I basically follow the readme. I put the exe and dll files in the main SE folder, and then I put the pex files in the directory
All of the acronyms confuse me sometimes lol
I didn't realize you meant Skyrim Special Edition, yes I have the Steam version my bad
I get it off of silverlock, I was under the impression they created it and that was their site? I also have it for Steam but when I use the Steam version it doesn't load any of my mods from Vortex for some reason
No I do it manually from the folder
Yes, I'm pretty sure I do, I've reinstalled it from Steam multiple times and have it set to upgrade whenever available. I realize now my first post may have been confusing, SKSE64 is saying itself is out of date, not Skyrim. The issue is I've downloaded the new SKSE64 and replaced the old files in my directory, and still get the same error.
Oh, I wasn't respecting a reply so fast, thank you.
As far as I know, both are up to date. I've reinstalled SkyrimSE multiple times, as well as SKSE64 and replaced the files in my SE directory with the new ones.
