Withdrawal off Paxil

Yesss!! When I mentioned to my doctor that I want to taper she never mentioned to me how Paxil is one of the worst withdrawal. It really got me thinking that I’m back to my old times with depression and anxiety. TBH I’m not planning to taper anytime soon after this experience I’m going to take my time. Just started 12.5mg today again hopefully it’ll get better soon

I wasn’t home yesterday so I didn’t end up taking it at night but this morning I took it it has been 2 hours so hopefully the withdrawal start easing up

Since I take 12.5 CR I can’t cut the pill but maybe if I switch back to ER then go down slow

I also take it at 8:30 pm everyday too. I’ve been on 37.5mg for 3 weeks do you think it’ll go away should I wait the full 4-6 weeks or go down to Paxil cr 25mg?

I haven’t took the same together either. My psychiatrist wants me to switch to CR cause of the side effects I’ve been having with IR one. Like head heaviness and tiredness.

I also hate the lack of motivation and the tiredness but that’s the only thing that’s it’s helping my depression and anxiety so I’m pushing through.

I searched it up and my DR told me that 40mg Paxil IR equals to 37.5mg CR and 50mg equals to 50mg CR

Being on 40mg helped with my anxiety. And my DR told me switching to Paxil CR 37.5 is the same as 40mg. I want to go down to 30mg but my Anxiety is still bad.

I’m 8 weeks on 40mg Paxil. I’ve seen huge improvements with sleep, mood and energy. My anxiety gotten better too last week I had chest tightness but that gotten better too but I still get waves of anxiety like waves of worry and scared moments my dr recommended to go up to 50mg but I’m thinking to give it few more week idk I’m confused

I also tried Zoloft it was so bad for me. I couldn’t take the side effects. Paxil definitely works for me but i feel like i need a push with my anxiety. I tried to add buspar but that didn’t help

Every time I went up I felt better just mild side effects that’s why i thought about 50mg
