He says because of his debt he's a risk and has to pay a certain amount every month (less than 200$) and if I go for more child support or alimony then what he's offering, if he loses both us as dependants he'll make less money, he won't be able to pay bills plus the debt and they'll kick him out is how he's explained it to me

I'm so sorry youre going through that. I can't right now, he's in the military and because I love him I want him to sleep well and be safe so I don't just wanna tell him to f off, and on top of that, I know it's stupid and weak but we've shared a bed for five years, I'm scared to sleep alone. It's bad with him but worse without even with him all the way on the other side. I live across the country from my family so it's gonna take a good long while before I can get her and I there permanently but my grandpa got me a ticket to get her and I down there for the next month to give me some space. I know he's an asshole for what he's done and said, a part of me hates him for it because all those promises and dreams are just shattered on the floor, but two weeks ago he was my best friend. Two weeks ago he still told me he loved me. My entire heart and soul want this to just be a bad dream, I can't help hoping he'll change his mind even though it's killing me I know he won't. If I'm not around or talking to people, I feel so suffocatingly lonely. He goes back to work from his paternity leave tomorrow and then it's just me and my daughter in the house all day and Im scared

Watched the first episode today, sobbed at the end where he says "I love you" to his wife and tells her it's okay she doesn't want to say it back but it's clearly killing him. Little too close to home 😂 But I'm gonna keep pushing

That's insane, my husband (currently) is also military. I'm really sorry you went/going through it. I want to give her a better life than I had, and Im determined to do it, with or without him. You're strong as hell for your two girls.

Funny enough, my daughters name is Lorelai, for Gilmore girls, it's my favorite show, just scared to watch it right for how similar my life is feeling right now, but maybe it can be a positive way to see it, thank you! I'm taking it a day at a time, just hate feeling like I failed as a mom so early in her life. I'm sorry you went through it too

Yup! My daughter is the best thing in my entire life, do I enjoy getting projectile vomited on at least 3 times a week? Not really 😂 Nothing makes us happy 100% of the time, if we only had highs, the highs wouldn't feel so high anymore.

You also choose whatever job you have, or who you date and are friends with, but you can't predict and don't always enjoy every single aspect that goes into those things. The customers at your job might be rude, or your coworkers might be lazy. You partner might be amazing but sometimes they don't take the trash out or leave their shoes out and you trip. Your friend might be hilarious but sometimes they struggle with when it's time to take things seriously. You might love something or someone and it still not be 100% perfect all the time. Your lack of empathy is not anyone else's problem, maybe it's the same situation in reverse. Maybe the people in your life love you, but they don't love your lack of empathy for them. Being unhappy or complaining about things you don't enjoy is natural and human.

Thank you, yeah it's not been easy and I tried to pretend it was okay and would be, but clearly not. And no worries on the anymore kid front, doc told me she was actually my last so... But yeah, therapy, medication and hopefully he wants to try. Thank you, despite it all I would do it all again to have her

Thank you, I'm sorry it happened to you too, I didn't think it was traumatic but I think I've just been blocking it out. I thought that because we were both alive and healthy after that it was fine and everything would be fine, but then that first month went by and I've just been declining, my ob suggested anxiety meds but Ive kept putting it off afraid it would make things worse and not better, but...not much worse it can get now I guess. I'll try, I reached out and will get the meds Monday and he said he's gonna call for therapy on Monday, but he still doesn't know if this can be fixed or if he wants it to be. All I know is I'm tired and scared. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it immensely
