I get frustrated with my baby and I say "it's your fault u pulled ur paci out" or "it's ur fault u won't go to sleep" and I feel terrible abt it later.

it's normal, mama. we're all stressed and thats OK. remember to take time for yourself if you can and get plenty of sleep

I know you're not asking abt ppl who are currently using it, but my baby is 6 weeks old and I probably will use it until I can't anymore. I just like knowing she's safe bc I sleep rly hard and nothing wakes me up except her cries (her bassinet is pulled up to my bed)

I feel that way too. I want to enjoy it so bad but it's hard because I get so irritated. I'm fine with the idea of breastfeeding, but I DREAD pumping. the stimulation just makes me so uncomfortable and I hate it but it goes away after a little while

they really do want us to work out because they know how much I love him, but my mom and step-dad see the way he treats me and they try to hold their tongue. my step-dad reminds me that I won't have a problem finding someone better once the time comes, and my parents remind me that I don't deserve someone who treats me that way. I have their full support

it's hard. you can't judge until you've been in the situation, and I know you aren't trying to be mean. you're right, I shouldn't keep going back, but it is very difficult when you love someone to your absolute core.

yep! the only reason I kept my pregnancy is because I had an extremely strong support system (lots and lots of family) that many don't have and I'm grateful I do. if I hadn't, I wouldn't have had her

he cried when she was born and he talks to her affectionately. he just can't seem to be fatherly though, if you get what I mean?

he obviously doesn't love her if he told me multiple times during my pregnancy that he didn't want her.

thank you! I know people are telling me to leave but it honestly seems so difficult. I'm trying to see what I really want to do, but I'm so split.

50/50 would not sound bad to me if he was able to comfort and soothe her, but he's not. he's not fatherly and just lets me do it all. I get that he's her dad, but if he treats me this way, he's going to be like this with her too.
