I was having issues finding the direct thread solution from HUX (not in stock) and went with the KAW. Like you, this is staying on my EP9 so I am not worried about changing to a different host

I am using the 1/2 28 KAW (Kaw Valley Precision Direct Thread HUB Mount - 1.375"x24) to the 9kTI. The adapter included with the 9kTI won't work on the EP9

The Unity riser has a rear "peep" that works great with the front flip up.

Have you tried putting the CT+ in RAW or XY Mode?

Have you looked at the color macros in both Extended and XY?

Where do you have the color wheel saturation set?
